It's hard to believe in 2007 this kinda thing still goes on in America. I just happen to notice this Racist Capitalistic Pig of a business having a very Racist sign in FULL view of everyone. I went to the City, they were NOT interested in my complaint so I went to the manager of the laundry mat and said: WTH ...why do you have such a RACIST sign up in your STORE (then he played dumb) and said WHAT RACIST SIGN..I said the one above the washing machines that says: WHITE ONLY...this is NOT 1950 in Selma Alabama...he LAUGHED in my FACE!!!!!!!!

What would you do to fight this???

but i also have diabetes and believe that stem cell reaserch is okay.
all of my friends say that i am not a true christian if i believe that and are really angry at me. how can i make them understand that thay dont understand what diabetes is like because they dont have it? and how can i tell them that it is okay?

my mom is a catholic Hispanic woman that doesn't view homosexuality or bisexuality seriously. She sees bisexuality as popular trend that everyones adopting. I also feel bad because im an only child and i dont want my mother to never know what it feels like to be grandmother. I dont know what to do!?!?!

My family and I usually do something special for Christmas Eve. Past Christmases we did a talent show or sharades or a Family Fued sort of thing or a carnival w/ games and arts and crafts for the kids. This year we have no clue what to do. I have the house all decorated for fall right now, but I'm getting sick of it. The leaves have fallen....the pumpkins are gross...the harvest is over....so it feels ridiculous to have scarecrows and straw and "Happy Harvest" signs up. But I also don't want a bunch of ugly turkeys, pilgrims, and tacky Indian decorations out for Thanksgiving. Is it okay to put out a few Christmas decorations (not the tree of course) and start to get in the season?

I really want to follow that tradition....but I'm a little nervous about being skyclad....do we HAVE to be skyclad...even if I tell the priest/priestess that I feel more "right" with clothes or a robe on?
When get ded/init can I just where a robe and some pants? lol

Most of the people in my church have alot of money. And when we meet in homes for bible study and such I tend to lose my breath at how beautiful these homes and luxury cars are. I"m a middle class working artist and have never been a part of this society before until I joined this church

I know I should not pay attention to these things and focus on God but It's disturbing me more and more. I think about it when I ride the city bus and see children with no shoes or coats and I begin to feel guilty and feel resentment toward my church. Instead of Christmas they could celebrate these days. Have presents, have a play where atheists kids pretended to be on the Beagle, eat, gather with family, and celebrate evolution. Even have the stores decked out for them.

I still wonder if this would to happen would they still participate in Christmas? Plus would a theists participate in an atheist holiday?
