I always put them up the Friday after Thanksgiving or in and around there. It's better to have them up longer because once Christmas is over, the decorations seem to lose their charm until the next year. If you're really in the Christmas spirit, I'd start small each day this week and then put it all up by the 23rd or whenever you feel like it.

I usually start the day after Thanksgiving putting up Christmas decorations. We get our tree that weekend, because it's not as crowded but we keep it outside in a bucket of water for another week. Happy Holidays

I positioned my decorations up the 1st week in November, as Halloween has ended and yuletide is formally rolling in. i actually delight in doing it, through fact by using the night of the day that i've got spent adorning, i can ascertain particularly a number of my neighbours bushes by using my outdoors window. it truly is large relaxing, and truly gets me into the spirit. do no longer shrink your self! Christmas comes as quickly as a year, it merits a sturdy sturdy 2 months previously it disappears for yet another 10!

Go right ahead. Take advantage of the great weather and put up your lights!
There are many people that have started and have already lit up (though some are waiting for the Friday after Thanksgiving to turn their lights on).
And when you get your lights up, take a picture of them and post them on the sites below so we can all enjoy them.

Better to start early than put them away late. No Christmas lights in February, please. November? Why not.
