If a god/religion is the one true god/religion it shouldn't need preachers or people to tell someone about it.

If our bodies can hold that energy why can't our energy evolve like everything else?

I don't think death of our energy is true.

If energy dosen't die, if we are energy(energy that helped form us) , we don't die, we just separate or change.
If i got brain damage I would still exist as a stupid me.....I just changed like a magot to a fly. If matter can evolve then why not energy?

Try to lay down with no use of your senses and you will know it is your soul that initiates what you want, when, and how you want to think.
Your soul picks what to think or else you would be a computer that had to have a controller(maker also).

If Im alive and loose my memory I still exist whether it in my own crazy world or not (so the matter of the brain isen't our true existance) If im on acid or crack I might act like a different person but Im still my own existance not yours.

My point is my existance is still me if I loose a leg, part of brain, our my family jewls I still exist somehow

Again, I'm not attempting to challenge faith. I am interested in the opinions of both nonbelievers and believers. Here is one of my favorites, by Robert Frost:

FIRE AND ICE

SOME say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

What does this poem mean to you? Although written many years ago, is the poem relavent today? How does it conflict or comply with your beliefs? Any other thoughts would be apprreciated.

I am a young man (early 20s) suffering immensely from sexual attration to men. Thus far I have never acted on my attractions and never wish to do so.

Instead, I am hoping and praying I will be able to overcome these attractions and be straight. I know I cannot function as a homosexual, because for me the shame, guilt, STD risk, and religious consequences are too great for me to ever be happy in this way of life.

So do you believe change is possible? And if so, how can I change?

This question is serious and desperate and I do not mean to cause anyone offense.

After being playfully teased, the person slightly lifts their shoulders, lowers their head/gaze, and blushes.

What is your impression of her body language? What would you think if you watched this behavior?

Yesterday my three year old son asked what prayer was. I told him that it was talking to God. He looked at me strangely but didn't say anything. Today, I picked him up from my mother in law and she was scandalized. She couldn't believe it when my son told her that we should pray to God. She is a devout Orthodox (we live in Greece) and she called me un christian for teaching my son to pray to God instead of the Virgin Mary and St. George! When I told her that whereas Mary was a remarkable woman, she was only human as was St. George, and Jesus himself told us to pray to God (Our Father in the Heavens...), she flipped her lid. She asked where I had heard such nonsense, and I replied back "The Bible". She gave me a hard look and said 'don't read that book anymore.'
Is this what All Orthodox believe then? Or is my mother in law just another victim of religious leaders and their man made traditions?
