I'm no longer a Christian, but this is what I think anyway:
If God is there, he's gonna know what you're thinking regardless of whether or not you actually say it. You may as well be honest about what you really think, as that's the only way to have a completely honest relationship.
Now, when I was a Christian, I had been taught that God was loving and forgiving. If that's true, then what do you have to fear in being honest?
So if you flip out, you flip out. If he's loving and knows you better than you know yourself, he'll understand. If you say something offensive, he'll forgive you.
The only other alternative is to hide your thoughts from yourself and live a kind of guarded lie out of fear of offending God. You lose your emotional integrity and freedom of thought by doing that. Is that what you want? Is that what God would want for you?

Yes I have.
I have flipped out on him and told him what I think of a certain situation......I have flipped out about certain things to very close friends who would not use it as an opportunity to step on me or take me away from God. I know others who have too they are called NON Religious and they usually wind up walking pretty close to God! :) King David Got upset with God which you can see in some of the psalms. The lord is near to those who call on him in truth.

Yes and yes. We are human. The way I look at it, flipping out on God does a couple of very Christian and Godly things. It acknowledges HIM as GOD. It says to him you have surrendered to his will and you aren't happy with the outcome because it caused you some consternation. It also says I am human and can not do his will without his strength.
So flipping out on him isn't a big deal. Like any spoiled child. ( as we christians are, very spoiled , our own brother had to die for our salvation for God's sake. Our father sacrificed his human body for our salvation and we are loved no matter what we do. How spoiled is that)
Now, what you gonna do? Accept his will for you, ask him for his strength to carry it out.

Yes I have! Several memorable times at least.
Once was when my father had his second by-pass surgery. Lots of people were praying for him and several spoke out about having a "word of knowledge" from God that my dad would come through the operation without any complications. When he had a stroke (fortunately minor) on the operating table I was totally pissed off at God for a few weeks. Two things finally dawned on me: (1) I had taken the words of men as words of God...he hadn't lied to me, they were the ones that misrepresented God's word to me, and (2) the stroke had a number of beneficial impacts on my father and on his relationship with my mother...I finally realized that maybe God used the stroke to finally teach my dad some lessons that he'd been too arrogant or prideful to learn before that time!
The second time was when my mom was diagnosed with cancer. Again, everyone was praying but following surgery, the doctors told her that the cancer had spread farther than they had thought and her condition was terminal. Again I was angry because God hadn't answered my prayer...and again, I came to realize that I was wrong. For one, God did answer my prayer...my mom did survive the surgery and she lived for nearly a year longer than the doctors said was possible. Furthermore, I came to realize that his plan had a purpose even if I wasn't able to immediately see it. I know of at one person that came to Jesus as a result of what was said at my mother's funeral...and only God knows how many people were affected positively for him because of her faithfulness in the face of unbelievable pain and suffering (I know of at least two medical personnel that commented on her amazing strength and positive outlook and both attributed it to her faith). I know I learned things about God and about myself through her...things I might not have learned if the doctors had been able to get all the cancer with the surgery.
I remember my mom being concerned about my anger with God...until I pointed out to her that I had certainly spent a lot of time angry with her in my life and that she didn't stop loving me nor did I stop loving her...that if God is really a loving parent, then he can handle my anger...it might make him sad, but he'll keep right on loving me until I'm ready to let go of that anger and ask forgiveness!

Yes definitely! God knows how I feel anyway, so it's really helpful for me to actually verbalise that. Telling God how I feel is a good way to start processing what is going on. It's so hard for us to understand that God is the LAST person to take offence! After all, he died for us, what's left to take offence at? Go for it, it's a really cleansing experience.

Yes, I have. I have found that being totally honest and authentic with God brings about good things. Sometimes letting out your frustration means you are drawing near to him - provided that you are ready to listen, too. It's like that with any relatioinship, really.

God does everything for man... what is happiness without pain... we would not really know what it was... i accept things as they come and know that god does everything for a reason... even if we don't understand why at that moment...
