Even those who are by nature good people and would never intentionally harm another person need rules. You can not even play a game of "Simon Says" without rules, let alone run a government. Having a set of rules, guidelines or laws is necessary to let people know what is expected of them. I don't want to harm anyone but I appeciate that there are laws protecting me if I am a victim. I think that some rules and even laws are unecessarily complicated and should be simplifiied, but that's another subject. {{{Rammie}}}

Everyone needs rules of some sort, society wouldn't function properly if there were no boundaries set. However, I think morality is inherent in human beings which is why they create that structure in the first place.

Everyone needs rules. That's why they are, or should be, taught to us as early as possible - when we are babies.
People keep braking the rules in order to see if they are really working or not.

no, not at all since I am inherently good by nature. ruse are just those boring thing that I am not going to break anyway.
the only reason that I would ever break a rule is for the sole purpose of getting punished,
I do love a good spanking.
rule are make to be broken, if there were no rules, then there would be no reason to break them.
no punishment, and therefore no reason to break rules.

I think MOST rules are good to have, some aren't.
Some good ones:
1. Love one another
2. Be patient
3. Be forgiving
4. Be good to others even when you may not feel like it.
These work very well for me as long as I remember to follow them!

Think of rules as laws. We need rules. We need law and order. Mankind is not naturally good by instinct. If you think so, you've probably never visited a prison.

I think rules are overrated. Our society has so many of them, we don't even know what they are. I would actually favor a Constitutional Amendment banning laws that are too complex to be easily understood, because if I can't understand the law, I shouldn't be expected to comply with it.
