If they are not negative about alcohol and you are of age... a bottle or two of Asti Spumante for the Thanksgiving dinner? If they have a working fireplace...some seasoned wood for the Thanksgiving fire? A Thanksgiving flower arrangement? If there will be a number of children there...if you could think of something appropriate that would entertain and envolve all of them...the adults would probably like that. If you really want to win some giant points....you can insist to help with all the clean up following the meal.....don't let them talk you out of it.
That is all that comes to mind.... Good Luck! (My BEST ANSWER!)

Buy a nice Thanksgiving themed floral arrangement for the table and a nice bottle of wine. Give her father a firm hand shake and be prepared to be hugged by her mother in welcoming you to their home so return the hug. Just breathe and relax. I'm sure that if you're yourself they'll see in you what your girlfriend did.

How about something that shows what a nice guy you are? Like your mom's homemade pie or grandma's Thanksgiving bread? (Assuming you're near you parent's place or your visiting your family on the same day.) If you can't get to mom/grandma to make an extra dish.....how about a nice flower arrangement for the table? (With an extra arrangement for their daughter, of course.) :) It's not so much what you give them, but how nicely you treat their daughter. Good luck!

If they drink, a nice bottle of red whine to go with the dinner. If they are not drinkers you can bring a nice bottler of cranberry juice along with some flowers for the table.
