In every cross, picture etc...he looks white, but since he was from the middle-east I presume he was brown. Why is he white in modern religious images?

I know that this question has been asked a lot, but I really want to hear some answers.

Many say that it is because of Israel and Palestine. But I don't think this is really it. For the Palestinians, I can understand the feelings, since the Israelis threw them off of their land, but this does not explain the hatred of Jews across the Muslim world. I really don't think that the broader Muslim world hates Jews because of what is happening to the Palestinians because I really don't think that Muslims care about other Muslims. They blowing each other up all the time and they don't help each other when disaster strikes (think Tsunami).

Muslims have hated Jews ever since Islam came into being. Jews have always been second class citizens under Islamic rule. In modern times I really think that the hatred comes from jealousy and the blame game. Jealousy in the sense that Israel is the only functional modern society in the Middle East and then they blame Jews for their problems.

.....following God's law on abstaining from blood, -AS STATED, by Luke the physician?

**ACTS 15:28,29 (HCSB)

28"For it was the Holy Spirit's decision........29 that you abstain from food offered to idols, from blood, from eating anything that has been strangled, and from sexual immorality. (A) If you keep yourselves from these things, YOU WILL DO WELL"( my caps).

--AND ALSO take this warning:

.....Dr. David Crombie, Jr., chief of surgery at Hartford Hospital, candidly admits: “I was raised in medicine AT A TIME (my caps) when blood was thought of as A TONIC. Now it’s thought to be A POISON.”
**Bloodless Surgery Gains Momentum
--In late 1996 a hospital in Hartford, Connecticut, U.S.A., joined 56 others across the country that have “bloodless centers for Jehovah’s Witnesses,” reported The Hartford Courant. ........"

***OUR STAND is primarily Scriptural but there are many comments like above!
--SO WHAT do you choose RUSSIAN ROULETTE or as ACTS 15--stated?
--And why?

Without the Holocaust, and the destruction of shetl Jewry and its culture, Israel never gets off the drawing board. Before the ink was dry on on the Balfour declaration, England was, (as is their habit) backing away from its promise of a jewish homeland.

I know the Quran and Muslim teachings say that the important folks such as Mosus (Musa), David (Dawid), and Abraham (Ibrahim) were Muslims BUT no other historical or religious writing before Muhammed's Quran states this. What do you think?

Ok, my life is "bad luck". When I was young I was molested by my dad, but never told. I was molested again at a babysitters house, but never told. The reason I never told was because I absolutley did not know if someone did sexually acts to me I was suppose to tell. Well in school, I was always teased and called ugly, mostly behind my back. And I have always been pushed around by my family and others and I just feel so weak. Well now I'm in college and I am doing bad. I'm on acedemic probation and if I don't make 2 A's and 2 B's I'm out of school. This past week has been the worse. I made a F and a D, my grandma and mom told me a need work done on my teeth-I hate my looks. And just random "bad' things to add to my already "bad" luck. I just feel like God doesn't love. I believe in him, but I don't believe he believes in me. Or am I just overreacting? Help, I'm at my end. I don't see why I should keep going if nothing good ever happens to me. I work hard and nothing ever amounts to it.

I wasn't raised in a religious manner and throughout my life I haven't noticed or felt "God" or anything of the like. Recent attempts to mostly feel like superstition from reading various books and not real evidence.

I wonder why the world is in the state it is, than I come on R&S, and I am astounded at how many christians condem others and even another for not believing precisely as they do. What happened to the rules of Patience, Consideration, and Understanding? Jesus was jewish, Mohammed was islamic, and even buddahism and aspects of native american beliefs have the same basis as all the rest. Don't condem what you don't know, have you considered one is not right but all, but than you condem a war you helped start? Practice what we preach, peace and brotherhood, and stop the hating. That is what is wrong with the world.

I used to wonder this when the bible was being pushed down my throat as a kid. I don't believe in the bible anymore. But the old testament made me hate the christian god when I used to believe in him.
Why can the christian god break his own commandments?
And why does he expect us to follow them when he doesn't?
