I wasn't raised in a religious manner and throughout my life I haven't noticed or felt "God" or anything of the like. Recent attempts to mostly feel like superstition from reading various books and not real evidence.

Why don't I see? Blinded by law: 2Cor 3:14,15.

Why don't I see any evidence? No see-king, no find.
Try using the seek and find clues given for seek & find:
-seek FIRST the KofG, since KofH is like unto leaven.
-seek 1st KofG AND his righteousness, isn't your right.
-find grace, at the throne of grace, and notably in time.
What do you suppose makes Galatians 3:11 "evident"?
Perhaps all the biblical & historical "evidence" provided.

Why don't I see any evidence of God?
Have you not yet seen anyone do anything good,
for no reward nor any reason than being grace us.

Perhaps you have a lot of dark areas to enLIGHTen,
but you can't do it by being an adult afraid of the light.

What's more silly of these two things:
a child afraid of the dark or an adult afraid of the light?
Now flush both these silly things for what's best of 3 things.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

People who know Him see His evidence. For people who distrust Him ,He allows them not to trust His evidence.

He is the revealer of all truth.

Are you ever truthful?

edit

The eyes are not very good for investigating evidence. Eyes cannot see substance. Eyes only see light. We actually use our minds "eye" to determine what it is that we see. The mind's eye is much like God's all seeing eye. We are multidimensional. We actually use all our senses to determine truth.

God is not that hard to find.

If God is true, there has never been any truth without God.
If God is true omnipresence, then there is a part of God that exists within us.
If God is truth, the truth is not very hard to determine at all. The truth cannot be disproved. Neither can God.
Superstition is blasphemy of the truth. The truth cannot be doubted.

He would rather we trust His truth and never be swayed by blasphemy of it. Superstition is for fools who doubt the truth.

No evidence of God? Look around you, what do you see? Look at the heavens above you, see the beauty? Guess who created it? God did. Look at the earth, look at the beautiful colors of the waters, lands trees etc. Then you have the beautiful colors of the races of people. God created all of this. Now look in the mirror, you will see one of Gods many miracles. you came from a tiny seed planted in your Mothers womb, where you grew, until it was time for you to be born. God has given us all so much and especially His only Son, who was crucified and died, so we might be saved. God has given us so much, because He loves us all. We cannot see God, but we know He is there, for He is like the wind, we cannot see that neither, but we know it is there!

It's worse than that, I'm afraid. Not only is there no evidence for God to be found in anything we've looked at in all the universe we can see, there's load of evidence that the whole idea of deities is man-made.

Instead of behaving anything like what we would consider sane behaviour for the creator of the universe, God is portrayed as a psychotic and murderous human despot - just the sort of Alpha Male that Bronze Age goatherds would dream up.

Do you mean the see with your eyes or do you mean see as in I understand?
If you are looking for a bright light or burning bush your shet out of luck.
But if you would like to understand then you'll need to start a very long journey. There are a boat load of religions so if you hang out at R&S you will have many to choose from (study).
Good luck

You can't find any evidence because it only exists as the bible, and you can't use the thing that presents an idea as the proof of it.

Basically, if you're looking for evidence of god, while you're at it you might as well add to your list Zeus, Thor, Athena, Quetzolcoatl, Elegua, and Ra. Have fun : D

As salaamu 'alaikym, my friend.

Insha'Allah, it can be hard to see if one's eyes are closed, or if one refuses to loose one's ego so that one might admit to One greater than ones' self.

There is a Chinese story about a man who went to see a master. The master was pouring tea as he began to tell the visitor about his teachings.. The visitor kept saying, "I know that..." Suddenly the visitor noticed that the master was filling his cup to overflowing and was still pouring! "Stop", yelled the visitor, "my cup is already full and can hold no more!" The master replied, "You must empty your cup to receive more and what is new".

Insha'Allah, you have filled your cup with your own opinions and ideas, understandings and preconceived perceptions. Let go of that and look to see what exist that although you may have some knowledge of it, how it functions etc., you did not design nor create nor originate in any way. This will also include yourself and your physical and spiritual self. Empty your cup and look to the Master who did design, create and originate everything, including yourself and allow your cup to be refilled.

May Allah, Subhanna wa Ta'ala, guide you to the truth for your own salvation and for the benefit of others.

Ma'a salaam.

Take a look at your own body, for starters. Study it carefully and notice how it is "sculpted", like a statue. It would be silly of us to look at Michelangelo's "David" and say, "Wow, look what millions of years of wind and rain erosion produced!" Likewise, we cannot say the same about the human body. Even more so, because "David" is only made of a single piece of stone, whereas the human body is incredibly intricate and irreducibly complex.
I was just thinking this morning - we can open the skull of a dead person and see what's inside, which is nothing but meat. How can there be thought in meat? How can meat think? How is that possible? To me, this is evidence that there has to be a God.

You are likely looking at the wrong evidence.

God is not likely a big human floating around on a cloud, and I have my own Theories on God.

Here is what I see is a definiton of God:

The sum of all the atoms, of all the things, in all the worlds, and all the universes known and unknown.

Now that covers a lot more unknown than known, if you think about it.

Feels superstitious to me too, but I also feel a connection to the Universe which seems to be right.

Good luck to you!
