Deuteronomy 4:16- 23.
Deut 4:16 states: "Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female."
Deut 4:23 states: "Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee."
If your avatar is the likeness of any living thing, you are violating God's law. Don't try to get out of it by saying that your avatar isn't a graven image, because the Bible clearly states that a "graven image OR the LIKENESS of any thing" is forbidden. For most of us on R&S, our avatar is the likeness of some living thing.
Man, are you guys in trouble.
