All of us who are Christians (or Muslims, for that matter) would be Jews instead.

Unfortunately the character of humanity is weak so the belief in Jesus actually helps people in need of hope. Life is full of pain and religion provides relief and a sense of hope of a better life after we die.
Without a belief in divine judgment most people would be even more cruel and destructive. So religion has a tempering effect on our behavior.
Religion is a pre-death stress disorder.

We would still be living under the Old Testament Laws and many many people today would fail to be able to have the means to raise or buy the right kind of animal for sacrifice to God for the forgiving of their sins. Plus, God's anger would really be terrible today towards the people. Because of the lack of respect, honor, worship, love, and knowledge people have for God today.

Maybe the Christian religion wouldn't have gotten off to such a good start and we wouldn't have had things like the Inquisition and the Crusades and the Dark Ages in general...

Nothing is different from before the "supposed" crucifixion. Jesus did not die for anyones sins, Jesus is a imaginary character created by early Judeo Christians.

"christ" did not die for our sins. A person was nailed to a stake, like many others. He died there. No he did not resurrect, that's all fiction. Let reality sink in...

You would have to pay for your own sins when you stand before God and are judged for how you lived your life.
The bible says that you will have to give an account even for every word that you spoke while you are on earth...

Nothing that hasn't happened already, but then again, Jesus Christ probably never even existed.

If it is presently hard for people to believe how much God love's us by doing this and the lesson of forgiveness, it would be 1000 times harder for people to accept and forgive had he not.
