God created all people to be different. I don't see why everyone is always SO concerned with making others believe their beliefs. If you don't believe in God, then you don't... keep your opinion to yourself. If you do believe in God... then you do. If you need to express your love if Him... go to church.

First of all God created people, and people choose to be atheists.
But what I want to know is, how can a being that you say you do not believe in, and you say doesn't exist, create an atheist?

God didn't create atheists.
Ask them. They'll tell you.

If God did create them, though, I don't think He would intentionally create them to be atheists. That would be like purposely building yourself a computer that doesn't do what you want it to.

God wants all people to believe in Him. He creates everybody to be a His follower. People just choose to do other things, like be atheists.

Asking a question like this is like asking... Why did God create any two groups of dissimilar people? I think it is so that we can learn to think beyond ourselves. The world does not revolve around any one group of people; we need to learn to embrace diversity and learn from each other. I tend to think that no one group is always right and that we can learn something -- no matter how small -- from each and every person.

Granted, we may not always agree, but we can always expand our knowledge and understanding.

If you continue with that line of reasoning, most Theists will assume that Atheists were created to test their faith. By that rationale, we don't even really exist, we're soulless dolls built by God for your benefit or detriment. I'm really not happy with that view of us, so you're really doing us no favors.

God doesn't "create" atheism. It manifests within the human population. Atheism is a result of sin and satan working his wonders. Yes they have a right to exist..nobody said they couldn't. I pray to God for all of them.

Clearly it is because the Calvinists were correct; we are either born among the elect (predestined for salvation) or the reprobate (predestined for damnation). We atheists are just reprobates.

What if God, choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath--prepared for destruction? What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory--even us, whom he also called...
