All sorts of Christmas decorations and gifts are out in stores already. It's so early to get all that going just yet. I never shop this early ever. What about you?

That you have faith in something?

Not God. There would be little point. I'm not talking religion. I'm talking about other things. For examples there are plenty of things to have faith in, like science, medicine, humanity, black holes , physics(different from science because well, it's not really), motor oil, toothbrushes, laundry detergent and anything else that we aren't quite sure how it works but does.

I understand that God is not an explanation to you, that is my point. Would you ever admit to having faith that the things you don't understand just work?

^_^ Drinks are, once again, on me if neccessary.

ok well i somewhat "became" atheist not all that long ago, but i still cant shake the whole idea of god and jesus and the lot...i was catholic, and i feel extremely horrible answering these questions with an atheist perspective...even though atheism makes more sense...just wanting some advice from both sides (catholic and atheist).

If God exists and is omniscient, then he would know everything that were to happen before it became so. And therefore if God knew everything, then existence becomes predetermined. And if existence is predetermined, how could freewill possibly exist?

I'm from that group of people who believes God looks at the heart. ;) BUT I don't want to be offensive. Did you cover your shoulders or wear a jacket for your wedding if your dress was strapless?

Thanks in advance!

But it's not ok to say f--k or s-n of b---h or c--t..I find all of those words offensive. but most all I resent people using my Lord's name in vane. Some times when thay use my Lard's name, I use the word C--T, They get all affended. I say don't use my Lord's name that way again,if they do I use the ward again. they stop.

When I was younger (and faithful because i didn't know any better), my parents sent me to a weekly CCD class at my local Catholic church. During one class, we were discussing the second coming of Christ, and my teacher said when Christ returned, everyone would die and the good would be saved.

I asked her what would happen if Christ didn't return until the year 8,000, and by then we had traveled the stars, met and integrated with alien species, and colonized other planets. What would happen if three beings (one human, two from another solar system) were all hanging out together at some bar at the edge of some galaxy ... when all of the sudden back on Earth, Christ returned. Would the Human just collapse and die right in front of the others? Would they all die? How unfair to the aliens who have never heard of Jesus!

She said the question was invalid because there is no life outside of Earth.

How arrogant was she to claim this knowledge? How foolish did she think I was?

We Muslims are making Christian generations colorful. The Christians women are divorced are in excessive in quantity than men and as well as the number of available women rises due to abundance of gays movements. We Muslims are allowed polygamy. We are marrying these excess woman population and making them house wives. Obviously it is respectable to make a woman queen of home instead of freeing them to become public property. We feel sorry when we see any woman becomes public property due to scarcity of males in western society. There are 7 millions women more than men in single America. There are 25 million gays in America. Behold, if marriage market is super saturated and every one man has one wife there will be 32 million women which will have no man to marry. Now there are two solutions of this problem. Either they becomxe public property as Christianity does not allow polygamy. Otherwise follow Islam, and get marry to already man(polygamy). What is good solution?

Ezekiel 23
1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:
3 and they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised the teats of their virginity.
4 And the names of them were Aho'lah the elder, and Ahol'ibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus were their names; Samaria is Aho'lah, and Jerusalem Ahol'ibah.
5 And Aho'lah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians her neighbors,
6 which were clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses.
7 Thus she committed her whoredoms with them, with all them that were the chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all their idols she defiled herself.
8 Neither left she her whoredoms brought from Egypt: for in her youth they lay with her, and

Can you tell me that without specifying your SPECIFIC religion's belief? Christians believe God just created. What if there is a God and just let the cell evolve? Why do people throw God vs Evolution, when it's just the specific religion.

Who reads the readings at a Catholic Mass? Do I need to have a friend read, or does the priest? Who is responsible for the following:

-The First and Second Reading
-The Responsorial Psalm
-Gospel Acclamation
-The Gospel
-The Homily

Also, does the Catholic church have any "laws" on wedding dress colors? My dress is being custom made and will be mostly pale pink with white lace overlay. The color looks great with my coloring so I am very excited. I know the veil is a symbol of virginity and NOT the dress, but does the dress have to be white? My veil is white and has a blusher. I need to know ASAP to I can switch my dress over to pure white if need be.
