James 2:24 says

"We see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only."

Does this mean that faith and works is what is needed for salvation?

Ephesians 2:8-9

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

So...did or didn't Paul teach faith alone allows for salvation?

I have a theory. You know that feeling we always have..or shall i say split personality. the side of us that thinks bad or evil or negative thoughts or when we say to ourselves nope cant do it ill fail. It is our own impure physically body speaking to us.

But the part of us that thinks positive, says we can do it, believes in ourselves. Our conscious. I think that is your soul. the most pure and clean thing that is trying to guide us. Yet people let the evil slip in there lives and become slaves to it.
If your confused just think of the devil on your left shoulder and an angel on your right.
what do you think a soul is?

Christendom? Is this just one small part of the mind control program or what?

Why are not Jehovah's Witnesses the Christendom? To me it looks like that both theologically and historically JWs fall within the boundaries of Christendom...heretical one even.

Ok, I know you Christians believe the Bible is valid.

You say there are evidence all over the world happening everyday that proves that God exits.

You also say that you got faith in your belief and you have a relationship with God; you actually talk to him and He talks back spiritually.

If so, then how come other cults and religions got the exact same evidence to back their belief up and they also got faith and they also feel connections to their god.

No one would be pretending to have faith; they have it because they really believe they have it, just as Christians.

So yes, I am open to the possibility of a god or some divine interventions in our life but I don't believe any human knows what it is.

Any religion in this world don't know it.

The fact is that if one religion is right then the rest are wrong.
Most probably all are wrong.

But if one were to be right, why are you Christians so sure that you are right when others feel just as strongly as you?

Paul says faith alone allows salvation.

But James says faith without works is dead....

Who who do you believe. James, the brother and disciple of Christ. Or Paul who never even saw Jesus?

Psalms 137:8-9 - “0 daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us. Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.”

In this verse is God requiring child sacrifice via stoning or bludgeoning? I'm really not sure. Thanks for your help.
