If it is not for religious reason, not for health reason, why would a dad (his dad decided) want to have him circumcised ? By the way he is happy to be circumcised.

I think that there are alot of times when we are praying for things, and asking God to help us, but sometimes what we want, and what he has in His plan for us are two different things. I believe that everything happens in Gods time. If I pray for something and it doesnt happen, then I know that it wasnt part of His plan. I have come to realize that if you put your entire faith in Him, that he will never let you down. What you want, may not always happen, but maybe its for the best. Everything happens for a reason. You just always need to keep your faith because without faith it is impossible to please Him. What are some opinions & thoughts on this topic? CHRISTIANS only please!!!!! Also, does anyone have any good bible verses about things happening in Gods time?

It is a dialogue between Kongfuzi and one of his beloved disciplies, as related by Chuang Tzu/Zhuangzi.

Penny for your thoughts?

[ The Sages of old first strengthened their own character before they tried to strengthen that of others. Before you have strengthened your own character, what leisure have you to attend to the doings of wicked men? Besides, do you know into what virtue evaporates by motion and where knowledge ends? Virtue evaporates by motion into desire for fame and knowledge ends in contentions. In the struggle for fame men crush each other, while their wisdom but provokes rivalry. Both are instruments of evil, and are not proper principles of living.]

This guy is supposed to be "training" him. He works at Cummins. My boyfriend said that he constantly expels how he knows nothing and that he is better because he knows more. Witch in actuality he seems to know less. He says people that have worked 2nd shift are lazy good nothings. My boyfriend has worked 2nd shift but there is nothing to do second shift. It’s not anyone’s fault. My boyfriend was changing the oil and this guy told him that he was not spill oil! Of course you’re going to spill oil. Then when oil would drip he would complain that he was not cleaning it up right away. There no use in cleaning it up right away you'd spend forever cleaning and it would take a long time to change the oil. He would stand there the whole time and complain. So this guy just loves to rant about how much better he is than him and when he is not. My boyfriend never says a word to him. I think he is scared to say anything because it would probably get him fired or something.

I went to the gas station awhile back and this clerk at the checkout counter had the rudest temperment I've ever witnessed. After she got done ringing me out, I turned around and looked her right in the eyes and said, "Satan come out of her in Jesus Name!!!! If you don't come out of her,Satan, at least shutup and behave!!!!" After I shouted that, I took my bags and got in my car and drove home justified.

Jesus warns us in Scripture to beware of false prophets/teachers/ministers.

What commonalities are there found in false religious leaders and what they teach?

There are the obvious things, such as "twisting Scripture" but I am looking for more specific answers. What makes a false teaching false, when quite a number of people believe such teachings to be true? How do we discern a true teaching from a false one? What criteria do we use?

If you answer "Scripture", without specifics, this ignores the fact that some Scriptures apply to Christians, and some does not.

This statement is on the front page of Yahoo! with pictures of Bill & Hillary Clinton.

So I'm curious. Do you believe that women are judged more harshly than men for crying in public? I would have thought it to be the exact opposite. What's your opinion & why?

I so often hear Christians say that they believe things by faith. This, to me, sounds like they believe things because people told them it was true and they either lack the ability or the desire to think critically about the things they are told to believe. How is this different from gullibility?
