God would not ask me to kill my child. He killed His own child before He would kill mine. Abraham and Isaac on Mt. Moriah were a foreshadow of what was yet to come as was many things in the Old Testament. God gave His Son Jesus who died to redeem you and me.

Of course not. God asked Abraham to kill his child knowing full well that Abraham would not do it and would show his true love for the child. God knew before he asked that Abraham would not do it.

Even 'if' god adequately proved himself no. He can send me to the deepest pits of hell and I will yell from the pits that he is barbaric and evil for asking a father to murder his son.

Of course not! But I would go see a phys. as I have no belief in gods and hearing voices would tip me off that something was wrong.

If the Christian god told me to do anything I would shrug it off as temporary mental illness.
