The not bridling the tongue, readiness to speak of the faults of others, or to lessen their wisdom and piety, are signs of a vain religion
I've been a Jesus lover all my life and I obey almost all of His commands but the un-bridled tongue of mine , I'm not mean, I just think I should "Judge" as I have a prophet personality, I AM NOT A PROPHET, I just seek justice so much that I find my tongue being unbridled, Does this undo all I do good for Jesus ?

I feel that I did not give a good enough explanation with this question yesterday, so here is a better one.
Also I have had enough arguements with my brother, and I am not having another one on this subject!

I am already aware that a day may be the same as a thousand years to God, as He is not restricted by time. I am not so concerned about the issue of time here.

I was watching the programe and I heard the lad say that he was a Christian. Fine. I am pleased for him. Then I thought I heard him say that he felt/believed that the world was created by some kind of accidental explosion. It came across to me that he felt this beautiful world was created by accident.

In my question, all I wanted was to know if other people also believed that God created this world. And that it wasn't some sort of accident.

Please, can people tell me which way they believe, and I'm not so concerned about the time it took.

Mark 1:41-42

Filled with compassion,
Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man.
"I am willing," he said. "Be clean!"

Immediately
the leprosy left him

he was cured.

Prominent creation scientist Em Adjineri has been studying evolution and discovered that evolution scientists think that we came from cavemen. However, it is obvious that cavemen could not have evolved.

If cavemen had evolved from caves, we would expect to see genetic similarities between caves and peoples. After studying cave DNA for several months, Em Adjineri discovered that caves don't have DNA. Therefore, they could not have turned into people.

Also, according to evolution it should be possible for a cave to get hit by a tornado and turn into a caveman. But no cave has ever been hit by a tornado and turned into a caveman, except for once and that time was a fluke.

Therefore evolution is false. The only alternative is the literal truth of the Bible.

This comes from a commentary on a Bible verse and I'm going to leave the verse out because I want to hear in your own words what this means to you in your daily Christian walk. I love to read your answers as each of us sees the world thru different eyes and it enlightens me so often to hear what others think so thank you ahead of time.

I believe it is symbolic. The reason I think so is because of this: how can baptism literally wash away sin? We are born with it, you can not get rid of it. The only way is to be saved, to say this would be saying that once baptised we don't sin anymore? Am I right? That is why I believe we say it is symbolic. But just open for what you feel also, because I really don't know the other versions out there.

I have a series of Powerpoint slides in English. Each bullet on each slide is a short thought on a topic. I have notes about each bullet, also in English. I can readily use the notes and talk to each bullet but what I want is a person fluent in English and another language (either Spanish or Arabic) to use my Powerpoint slides and my notes and speak in that other language to each bullet. They could have ample preparation time. I'm not asking for a translation but rather just an informal paraphrasing. The topics are normal everyday life such as opening a checking account. My problem is that I don't know if what I want is difficult or not for this bilingual narrator. Opinions?

I am writing as I was served with divorce papers last Thursday. This deeply saddens me. More than anything, I want to reconcile our marriage. We have a beautiful baby girl with another due in January. I have fear that I am losing my whole family due to this. This is taking a huge toll on me both spiritually and financially. I want nothing more than to prove to my wife and her family (who is orchestrating much of this), that I am on a good path to finding God and providing a future for us. The papers state that I would need to be present in court by the 23rd of this month. My daughter’s first birthday is today and I’m unable to speak to or see her. And it appears that she is not allowing me any rights to be involved in the pregnancy or birth of our 2nd daughter. I suppose my question is this: Can the courts request mediation or counseling in Texas to see if we can work this out? 6 months, a year…it doesn’t matter. I would just love to have ample time to prove myself to my wife.

Why not just make Jesus spontaneously materialize on this earth instead? Why go through the hassle of magically impregnating a woman, when he could just as magically make Jesus spontaneously appear as a man or child?

If his birth was a miracle which nobody saw, why perform the miracle in this way instead of in a public way where everyone could witness it?

Can't we all just get along instead of arguing about whose church is the right one? If we just picked mine and then we could move on in peace, love and harmony.
