I have been sincerely trying to resist this conclusion time and time again – wrestling in my spirit.
Sometimes, I begin to think that it is not important whether it is…and feel I should just dismiss it and simply focus of sharing the Gospel.

But then I question: is it important for the multitude of common people (laity) that are lead astray by Catholic teaching?

And the words of Jesus echo in my mind:
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves!”

The Mormons come to mind…as well as the Jehovah Witnesses.
And I see Catholic’s condemning both of these as cults:

As well as Protestants:

BUT, then I see stuff like this regarding Catholicism:

…and it HAS to make you wonder…

It really doesnt matter which one you go to.
As long as you are SERIOUS,Love God and
your neighbor, and read the bible for yourself
, and do what is says, you
can be a good christain, baptist, pentecostal,
catholic, or whatever. In the end... god will judge
YOU, not the church you belong to.
Im sure that same principle could apply to
faiths around the world. it would be a much more
peaceful place to live.

My day has started out quite nicely: 2 violations in the space of 5 hrs. I wonder if I'll match the 5, I got the other day?
At this rate I'll be the president of the violators club in no time.
I now have a grand total of 14.
Can any of you match it or come close?

If god is the all able, all knowing supernatural you claim he is. Why would he need Jesus, Mohamed, Moses and all the other 8000 prophets to deliver his messages??, Isn't he able to just implement it in our minds one night as we sleep and would all wake up one morning either all christians, Muslims, Jewish or one of the other 800000000000000 religions in this world. Or does god really just want to have fun and see how many traps he can lay and how many people he can burn in his hell, because he didn't provide enough evidence for them. I got a hand it out to your god, Christians, Muslims, Jews, your god is wicked and really good at keeping himself entertained. What do you real thinkers think of this matter??

According to Acts 1:8 of whom are we to be witnesses?

With you exclusive emphasis on Jehovah, can you honestly say that you are being obedient to Acts 1:8?

To help support this scripture truth also look up....
Acts 2:32 "This Jesus God raised up again, to which we are all witnesses"

Acts 3:15 Jesus is the one "whom God raised from the dead, a fact to which we are witnesses"

Acts 4:33 "And with great power the apostles were giving witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all"

Acts 13:30 and 31 "But God raised Him from the dead; and for many days He appeared to those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, the very ones who are now His witnesses to the people"

According to these passages, were the early Christians witnesses of Jehovah or of Jesus Christ?

I live next to a Starbucks Coffee and every single day of the week at the exact same time, there is this strange guy who come in the Starbucks, take a big cup of coffee (an expensive one, not sure which one it is but I think he always takes the same), sits outside (always at the same table) and drink his coffee.

He probably didn't cut his hairs for a very long time because they are very long, he almost looks like a caveman! The first time I saw him I thought he was a homeless person because of the way he looks, and I was wondering what he was doing in this place drinking an expensive coffee. He actually looks like a homeless person because of the way he dresses, and have really big hairs like cavemen, his face also make me thinks of a caveman, and I think he have a beard.

If this guy is actually homeless or something, what the hell is he doing in this Starbucks every single day? If he is not a homeless, why does he looks like that, is he a hippy or something?

What do you guys think?

I've noticed that even though BAs and fundies are very quick to speak out about sinful things like committed relationships between adults and protecting the environment, they have little to say about gluttony. I find it odd, because they so often back up their "Jesus is against gays" arguments with statistics about how unhealthy gay sex is for society. But not even the most lurid fundie imagination could dream to suggest that gay sex is causing worse health problems for society than obesity.

So how about it? Why is gluttony given a free pass? I know most of you BAs and fundies would be upset if you found out your pastor was visiting strip clubs, but I bet you don't mind if he is 150 pounds over weight and is a regular at the McDonald's Drivethru. Why is that? Why are BAs given a free pass to be crisco gobbling porkies? Why not free passes for internet porn or cruising truck stops for bi-curious action instead?

Sri.Aandal (a Supreme devotee of sri.Krishna),in one of 30 verses, sings "Kanjan vayitru neruppenna"--Kanca the worst enemy of sri.Krishna, all the 60 seconds,60 minutes,24 hours of a day ,365.25 days in a year, all through his life was thinking about sri.Krishna only, because he was worried and terrified when sri.Krishna would come to "finish him off",whereas even staunch devotees of sri.Krishna like sri Naaradha thought about sri.Krishna, maximum a couple of hours a day.So Kanca was finally admitted in Heaven even before sri.Krishna's devotees, who were waiting in the line!!!!

Today I uttered those immortal words I vowed never to do. Chatting to 2 of my grandchildren, I said "When I was your age".
I can't remember how we got to talking about hair, but they didn't believe me when I said boys and girls used to have their hair parted on different sides, boys one side, girls the other.

Was it a myth my grandparents conjured up or was it true, if so, which side?

If anyone dares to say I'm dotty, blame it on the germs I'm fighting with.

I have seen on many ocassions some christians claiming that catholics are not christian.
This is of course ridiculous as catholics are by far and away the largest single denomination within the christian church.
My question is why do they say this?
Could it be purely because they are jealous of the power and wealth that the catholic church has or maybe it's the number of members?
Your thoughts please.

A Squashed Mosquito is Dead Forever
Author: Tom Wagner
Have you ever squashed a mosquito? Interestingly, the squashing of a mosquito may help us understand what makes life possible and what makes the spontaneous generation of life impossible.

When a mosquito is slapped, what happens? Obviously it's shape changes and it dies. But what makes it die? All of the thousands of sophisticated chemicals which make up its body are still there, relatively unaltered. At the moment of impact its cellular components are still intact including the all-important DNA. So why is it now dead?

This article is one of many found within Mr. Malone's excellent book, Search for the Truth. Prior to being smashed, the mosquito was highly organized information. But when hit, it became disordered, causing critical information in the design of its body to become jumbled. There arose confusion in the finely tuned co-ordination of chemistry (including the chemicals involved in its overall structure) which culminated in an overall breakdown, resulting in death. And you thought you just slapped it!

For another example, lets say you were to take 100 million bacteria and concentrate them in the bottom of a test tube. Now if you were to physically lyse (break open) the membrane of each of the cells, insides would spill out, forming a concentrated mixture of incredibly complex "life-giving" chemicals. Yet, even though all of the right 'stuff' for life is there, not even one of the 100 million critters will come back to life, nor would any new creature arise.

If the already complex chemistry of minuscule bacteria cannot reorganize itself back into a living cell, even when concentrated in the test tube environment under carefully controlled conditions, then how could life have evolved in the first place, from basically uncomplicated chemicals in conditions FAR less appropriate than this experimental situation? It simply could never happen!

As with the mosquito, in order for life to exist the chemistry must be specifically organized and controlled in time and as well as space. For a cell to live, it must be surrounded by a sophisticated membrane that allows only certain chemicals in and out, according to when they are needed, not just at any time. Inside the cell, the proportions of an element or compound must be just right, otherwise the whole system may be thrown off balance and the organism will die. Furthermore, the entire living mechanism must be controlled by the fantastically complex genetic structure of DNA.

All this means that, in order for the chemistry to have come together in the first place, the individual atoms must have been purposefully and simultaneously organized by a creator having the knowledge and power to do such a thing. It could not possibly have happened by the right chemicals just "coming together".

It is Jesus, the Son of the Living God, who deserves our praise for the awesome things He has accomplished in this creation of His. There is no other plausible explanation for the complex life we find all around us. Yet this plausible explanation is the only explanation that is not allowed to be discussed in our public schools!
