Well Carole good question. In the beleifs of Christianity it is pretty much laid out. Everyone can choose thier destiny, simply put there is a fork in the road,on one side SIN the other Forgiveness. some choose sin without ever asking our Lord to forgive them. This day and age sin is tempting and everywhere. The question you should ask is that our Lord is willing to accept you. Everyone is a little different from the next. What GOD does for you may look appealing to another

no , he is the only fair judge anyone will ever see.
people decide / make choices and he knows the heart / reasons why people make choices. he will rule supremely and with justice .. you are guaranteed a good trial that is justice . .but understand justice does not mean a cake walk / innocence and guilty can both be valid decisions.
humans might draw the line and say always wrong to steal. but a mother might need a milk ... she would take the milk to save her childs life .. but she felt so bad / she would starve herself wouldn't take the noursishment for herself . she would remorse / wish she had not taken the milk. the right thing is for her to go to the person she wronged on earth and ask for forgieveness and make the debt right . she then asks her God to forgive her for breaking law / harming someone else . she has an obligation to both. she broke man's law ... we are asked to give ceasar our government what is theirs and give to God what is God's. we broke spiritual law of God .. we have to apologize and make it right .
God wants you in heaven .
can you imagine a god that loves you so much he woudl send his own child to die for you . imagine that we are inconvienced by a freind that asks a minor favor more than one time. would you love a stranger so much / is your heart big enough to even share a meal on a holiday ? let alone , send your kid to do a favor and give his life so that someone has a better life ?
when people ask does jesus love me .... answer please .. if he said / showed he loved you and was nailed to a cross to pay for a debt we can never afford
you are loved for you even if you sin . your parent GOD father forgives you AND you do not have a poor DAD .. you dad is the wealthiest Dad there is . none are richer / higher kings and have respect . THAT IS A HUGE INHERITANCE You get from DAD.
please find answer /search / do not lose your inheritance because you do not claim it

Man has Free Will to be taught and listen to the Word of God or not to. People choose to go to Hell..Luke 4:18, Romans 8.

God gives us His grace to do good. It's up to us to accept it. He does not influence us either way. That would be an infringement on our free will. Love cannot be forced, it has to be given freely. As far as hell is concerned God wants us to be with Him in heaven more than anything, and has already done more than His share to get us there. It is our responsibility to do the rest. Unfortuantely the meaning of the word "responsibility" has been forgotten by many these days.

This is a tough question that goes to the heart of the free-will/predestination debate among Christians. The simplest answer, though is:
God gives people the choice of whether or not to serve Him. In order for that choice to be real, both possibilities have to exist. So, we can really choose to sin and rebel, or we can choose to accept the sacrifice of Christ on our behalf. One day He will stop all sin, but until then, we have a choice to make.

Sin is choosing against God according to your own free will. God will not interfere with your free will. This is because love cannot exist without freedom, which is why he has given free will to humanity in the first place, as opposed to creating for himself an army of perfectly serving robots. We were created in the image of God; and since God is love, he is therefore free; we also need this freedom if we are to love as God loves. Which is what God wants -- to have us enter into an infinite exchange of love with him.
Of course, with the freedom to choose to love God, comes the freedom to not choose to love God. Humans often substitute something earthly, or "finite" for desires that are "infinite." But only the infinite can ever satisfy an infinite desire.
Thus, hell might be better described a rejection of God's love. A place where God (love) is absent. It is a wholly unnecessary place to wind up, since God has already defeated sin with Christ. God wants all of us to be saved, for we are all part of his creation, after all... which is precisely why he sent Christ to die for the sins of all of us, as opposed to just some of us.

God gave you the ability to decide for yourself what is right and wrong, good or bad. It is up to you, NOT God to make the right choices in your life. I believe he does help us, in all the good things that happen to us all the things we have in this life.
If you do believe in God, try to pray to help you be a better person and make the best choices in life for yourself. Ask God to help you and ask God for forgiveness when you make mistakes or bad choices in life.
From what I have been taught and what I believe God is very forgiving, but he can also be punishing.
I don't believe God would send anyone to hell unless they outright denied him, did not ask for forgiveness and were not sorry for their sins.

Okay, first of all God doesn't send anyone to hell, that's a christian tactic to control people. God is love, what I can't stand is that people make God responsible for the cruelty and evil humans create.

If there is a god up there how is he giong to stop them?
it's the people who fear hell that try to keep others from sinning.
Their choice to be feared and mine not to be, and if that means I am sinning then hell I am a sinner
