Why what? Do you think that EVERYBODY is supposed to believe the same way? That's just a touch childish (not to mention unrealistic), don't you think? Use your brain, and understand that everybody is different, and that your way is NOT the only way.

There are several reasons of atheism..If the head of the family is an atheist, there is a probablity the rest of the family members will become athiests eventually. Also many people think the world in not fair enough. If there was a god, He would create a much better world to live. Also some commit crime and become afraid of the punishment of God and he starts to think that there is no God and gradually become athiests. Again, some judge the world in a scientific basis and try to find scientific theory on every creations and happenings. Also some people are influenced by the other athiests and become athiests. I think these are the prime causes of atheism.

Probably because there isn't proof that God is real. People need to have faith, and there is little faith. How can someone believe in something that they've probably never saw? You just go by a big book with over a thousand pages. Other religions have their bibles, but we know their fake. They warshup a stone, or a cow, or whatever. But, we know that's fake. So why should people believe in God when other religions are fake?

because the world governments outlawed churches from torturing nonbelievers in the 1700s
and now they can't be forced to believe the cults of the world
thus there are atheists
