I have not read the other answers, but I am sure the overwhelming majority of people will say no. I don't even go to church because of so many issues that churches have -- they are judgmental, and often have a one-sided basis for their beliefs that do not encourage discussion or thought.
I think of myself as "Christian" in my actions and my beliefs. I think about my decisions, and I listen to the universe and I believe a higher power than just my own protects me and guides me. I help those less fortunate. I think Jesus would be pleased with me, most of the time. And that is all that matters.

Jesus would go with the flow! Christianity isn't what it used to be. It has changed, and so why should Jesus stay the same too..? He'd be a bit bored..
Naw, Jesus would be smoking weed and laughing with his mates down the pub at the stuff he used to preach. Secretely he'd be a little embarassed about it too. He has ditched the robes and got a hair cut... You have probably passed him several times down the street or in McDonalds but you didn't realise it was him because everyone has this set image of him being all holy and with long hair.. He was a hippy, but now he's more into indie and a lil bit of hip hop..
So ya, he's changed, as has Christianity. He's becoming a rebel, doesn't wanna live in the shadow of his father anymore.. Jesus loves you no matter what you have done to his religion!
Oh yeah, and I forgot he was Jewish... So basically he won't care anyways =p And he can't 'cos he don't exist!

Jesus will not be pleased about christianity of present time. The religion of christianity has gone under changes and the true picture of Bible is not ( I Say Not) the same as it was in the time of Jesus. Moreover the countries where this religion is looked after by the respective Govt. have corruption and sexual indulgences, which give a bad name to the christianity. So I am constrained to say that Jesus will not be happy with the present type of christ ianaity.

1. Not really due to the corruprtion and exploation of the church of today where people steal form the offering, become more involved in the church more than the actual meaning of church.
2. He would hate the behaviour and attitude most people who call themselves christians show towardseach other and non-christians when they talk down to them, about them or mistreat them
3. He would hate the concept of Gods people and Church people
4. He would hate how so many people are faking the funk byt pretending to know jesus and being saverd but really are living a double life and are luke warm for him.
5. He would also be displeased by the amount of sexual indulgence in the church with pimps in the pullpit and other church scandals
In short, i say no. Great question.

No. I'm not a Christian but have been studying Theology. I strongly believe that the stories in the Bible are often misinterpreted, selectively read with a narrow mind and followed at ones discretion. I'm not slagging off all Christians but I don't think that the essence of the message is appropriately acted on in the contemporary world.

I'm sure He is disappointed, grieved, and angered with how some have perverted His teachings and committed sins in His name. Didn't He go against the hypocrisy of the religious leaders of His day (Pharisees)? You have to separate true sincere Christianity as Jesus intended from all the false teachings Satan has designed and enticed folks to believe--something that's often hard to discern withouth wisdom from the Holy Spirit.
I think that the misuse of Christianity is a form of blasphemy--taking His name in vain. Those who practice it, no matter how well-intentioned, are being a stumbling block to others and Jesus had very harsh words concerning that. They will have to answer for it on Judgment Day.
However, Christianity as practiced in a fallen world by humans who aren't perfect, just forgiven is not the standard by which we should judge either ourselves or the truth of Christ's message. People who use bad experiences with a particular hypocritical Christian (or someone claiming to be one), a particular church congregation or denomination, etc. will not have that excuse to use for their rejection of the Gospel on Judgment Day. In the end, each person must give an account for him/herself, and God will separate the true believers from those who falsely claim His name. Jesus spoke several parables and illustrations concerning this truth (wheat and tares, sheep vs. goats). A person seeking truth should look directly to the Source--Christ Himself--through prayer, through His Word, and through a heart open to guidance and discernment from the Holy Spirit rather than focusing on how others are living their lives or practicing Christianity.
Bottom line, the question isn't whether or not Jesus is pleased with Christianity, but is He pleased with me? That's a question each of us has to answer for ourselves, and the only right answer is if we have accepted His gift of amazing grace through faith and acceptance of His power to cleanse & forgive us from our sins, and striving as best we can to allow Him to live through us.

99% of the time, NO and NO and NO because we can start with just one issse that would knock down 99% of the world's population in God's eyes. For any of you, any of you who haven't lied even one tiny teeny misleading or "sin of omission" lie (I don't know), please stand up and BE HONEST. I think the world is built upon lies today and I think it originates and is run by greed, In a local retail store, a large chain store, it says "rewards card, you get a kick back if you spend $500 in 13 weeks" YEAH, THE KICK BACK WAS $5 1%, so I saw people using their credit cards to make sure they got that 1% and to top it off, the store only used it to keep track of all everyone bought so they could eliminate the products other than average, like size 4 jeans for women or extra long sleeves for me etc. THAT TO ME IS PURE GREED and I think Jesus would be very very very unhappy and I think most of us operate like this if we look deep into our hearts. Misleading, deceiving etc. MY OPINION

That's interesting because I have really been thinking hard about my christian faith lately. I don't believe that he would be happy with the fact that every church seems to think that they are the only true church. I think he would also be thoroughly disappointed that a lot of people aren't following his teachings and upset to see some of the terrible things that are going on here and how we are ruining our planet and hurting eachother.

I think he would absolutely flip if he saw any of the 'Jesus for Dollars' evangelists.
Anyone who has relied on preaching the word of Jesus as a source of their own charisma would suddenly feel dumb, naked, and cheap if Jesus walked into the room. And above all, I think Jesus would be very displeased by the self-serving insincerity of it all.
I think he'd like Buddhism.

I don't think that Jesus would be happy with the world today.
Selfish groups that collect huge amounts of money aren't true to Christianity.
People who don't truly believe aren't true Christians.
I think he would be happy to know that his lessons and values are still be taught 2000 years later and that people are trying to better themselves and be removed from the greed and immoral actions that he warned about.
