Gentle and sweet the whisper seeps in the forest so deep beyond where
the king of three winters grow in the forest so dark there lies a spark.
Can you hear the silenced lark?

Soft and tender is my step to the old woman who has wept for the things
she has not kept. The forest is unforgiving for those among the living
but there she sits at the singing spring defiant to her fears and still
can she hear?

Curious eyes watch in sorrow for none know what brings on the morrow.
I kneal in the fern in the moon's glow and feel the tear trickle below.
She cradles the warrior like a child deep within this forest so wild.

Limb to limb, root to root I dance but not once did our eyes meet to
chance. In the moss they search for what is lost, their way distorted
and amiss to find a place like this.

Rustle the leaves for my whispers are free. Her sobs tell of the soul
the gods have robbed, brave he must have been this warrior she cradles.

Silent feet lead me close within the shadows of her soul.

"You hear me dont you healer? What will cure his wound grows deep in
the thistle dew, take my hand for I am no different than you and I will
show you where they grow. Fear not for your warrior so bold and brave
for this place will not be his grave if you truly believe."

people come to the seniors site and tell us what site we should be asking our questions? what is the point of having a seniors' site if we can't ask and answer questions of each other? I know ! that's 2 questions.

Deuteronomy 13:2 If there appears among you a prophet or a dream-diviner and he gives you a sign or a portent, saying, "Let us follow to worship another god"....for the Lord your God is testing you to see whether you really love the Lord your God....Follow none but the Lord your God and revere none but Him."
It doesn't end by saying, "unless its Jesus" or "untill I send my Son whom is also me because He is God too but in flesh...." Please reconcile this with the worship of Jesus Christ. Thanks.

But do they realize that this is a RELIGION & SPIRITUALLITY site/forum? We have every right to state our point of view here. This site was meant for religious, Christian and spiritual conversation and guidance - not to be ridiculed & insulted by atheists & non believers . It doesn't read "Atheist & non believer site" so give it up and stop acting like you "OWN" this site. Christian, religious people, do you agree with me?

without admitting that they do it with guns?
For the hardnuts, sure there are other ways to kill, but they are not as easy and as cowardly as pointing a gun FROM A DISTANCE. As someone else pointed out, most murders are done in an emotional outburst when a gun is handy.

What is the Purpose of the Bible...? This morning I posted this on my Blog.

I have come to this conclusion... AND... I would appreciate a response from those that Really KNOW... JESUS...!

Here is my conclusion...

(Acts 26:18) in order to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God, so that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me [JESUS].

According to the bible.(you know the thing christians keep saying to read) Jesus should have been back already. I read as it is written. I looked up and studied the culture and the language of the times. How do you get around the fact that in the bible Jesus said that before that generation passed he would return. (not from the dead, but in full glory in his kingdom) with each passing year do you not realize that daddys not coming home. He has found another family. Or better yet he was a man who was just a man. He like all other men died and is not coming back from it.

Where is your Jesus?

I was thinking, I am so tired of having to lock my car and make sure all the windows up, and was longing for those days when we didn't have to do it. I think our freedom is slowly being taken away because of crime.

Of course, now people have those gadgets that do it now. But I don't.

I am going in to battle of the bands. I am the lead singer and piano player for my band. Every one that is going to be in the battle of the bands plays at home coming witch is tonight. But my ex best friend who is a ***** to me now is in another band and I really wont to win and sound better then him. I am Nerves so just wish me luck. I tired to get all of the coolest and funniest people in my band and I think we did a good job we are singing

So what do you think, is it a valid question? Do people tend to REALLY think about it?
I don't shave my legs or anywhere else for that matter. I'm not trying to talk people out of doing what they do or into doing something else, I'm just simply asking.
I stopped shaving my legs 4 months ago. I will be wearing a skirt for the first time to school. I am slightly nervous because it's not something generally excepted. We'll see how it goes.
What is your opinion?

What are the qualifications for the 144,000 mentioned in the Bible book of Revelation Chapter 7 & 14?

1) They are all Jews- Rev. 7.4 .

2) They are all men- Rev. 14 : 4.

3) They are all identified by tribe-Rev. 7:4- 8.

4) None of them are married- Rev. 14:4.

5) They have the Father's name written on their foreheads- Rev. 14 : 1.

6) They are all seen with Jesus on Mount Zion, on Earth - Rev. 14: 1.

7) Their appearance is after the Great Tribulation, as Christ will not return to earth until the beginning of the Millennium or at the very end of the Great Tribulation. (See Matt. 24:29 & 30, Rev. 1:7, Acts 1:10&11.)

This is all "figurative" you say? We may conclude then, that the number 12,000 following the name of each tribe in Rev. 7: 4- 8 is also "figurative", thus the 12,000 X 12,000 being the 144,000 becomes multiplied figurative thinking !

The truth is that there is not a single person on earth today that meets the qual-ifications of the 144,000 of Revelation chapters 7 & 14.

wanted to focus on just changing the people's spiritual direction why did he let himself be annointed by John?? it wasn't a spiritual conversion, once the oil touched his head he was ACCEPTING his birthright as the king of israel! had he not done this couldn't he have gone on happily teaching and preaching??? could the whole thing have been no more than a non violent resistance movement, that once Jesus was killed ticked everyone off and cemented their comittment? this would explain why the gospels were written during the destruction of jerusalem and the jewish revolt wouldn't it?? and why they were written to whitewash the roman blame?? if you really see jesus go to heaven why do you fear accusing the romans???

I have to make a presentation in my social science class,more like a discussion of a chapter and I really feel nervous,most of the time I hate to be in the spot light and the nerves tend to betray me and take control over me.What can I do to control that? When people ask questions on here, does it annoy anyone else when the Christians start answering with stuff like (basically saying): "become a Christian/obey Christian laws/God will help you/Believe Jesus and you will be fine"? I mean, they can believe what they want, i'm anything but ignorant, but for serious human problems, religious answers really don't help.
