I was grounded for being late, 1 week for each minute of lateness. For other things, I had priveleges revoked. plus grounding.

If my parents were still alive, I probably would still be in my room, no phone, no television, just the encyclopedia and dictionary, no dates, no after school activities

there are so many weird-o's lingering about where i live, i suppose you could say its a somewhat bad part of town. How can i avoid these people without being rude???

whenever i take my dog out someone says something to me.
one guy told me he was shot in the face and showed me his glass eye, and took my hand to make me feel the huge indent in his head, and wouldn't stop talking to me, even tried coming in my house!
another man was peeing all over the sidewalk as he walked and i saw his trail of pee and said to the dog, what a psycho, very quietly and looked at him, he was far away and put up his arms like he wanted to fight and said 'WHAT, WHAT' i just looked at him, and he eventually went away.

another guy said he just got out of prison and wasn't sure of his address but tried explaining where he lived and told me to bring my dog over after it got bigger to breed it with his dog.

there is this girl that lives 3 houses down, always yelling and is just plain mean to everyone.

God couldn't just say "I forgive you"?

If we are sinners because he gave us free will, wasn't it his choice to give us free will and make us all sinners from time to time. Why do we need to be forgiven for what HE did to US?

Please answer in context of trinitarianism belief. The more I understand about the doctrine of the trinity the more it looks like it can not be a monotheistic belief. It sound so weird, so made up. God wouldn't really come up with such an idea...would He??

In many ancient cultures men were allowed to have many wifes. When you read some accounts of ancient history the simple act of having sex with a woman made her your wife. Has the one woman with one man become a standard for todays society or simply a religious value pushed on society? Are there any of you that are married and do not care if your husband or wife sleep around? Just curious to know...thanks.

I frequently hear Christians tell me that I made a choice to be an atheist, and a bad choice according to them. But now that I think about it, nobody really chooses to be an atheist (unless they were brought up by atheist parents, but that's different).

Consider this: most atheists disbelieve in god because of an overwhelming lack of evidence, and because of education and understanding of our world and universe. In other words, it is the inevitable conclusion from available information, and no matter how much we want to believe in god, we cannot.

Sure, we can call ourselves Christians and pretend, but deep down, we can never really believe. It's as hard for me to believe in God as it is for you to believe in unicorns, or to disbelieve that there is a chair in your bedroom right now. We simply cannot believe in God because our own common sense and rationality will not let us, no matter how much we would like to.

The Muslims never ask us to leave. Neither do the Wiccans, the Jews, or members of any other religion.

I am fully aware that the Christians doing this are simply trolling, but give it up already, people. Be creative and original with your insults, it'll help to liven up our days.

For those Christians who don't keep *hinting* for us to leave, thank you. It's always nice to play where everyone is welcome.
