ABORTION by far is worse...Euthanasia
will also kill...but its an end to a person's life of pain and suffering...and don't say the same can be said about abortion...with all the advances in birth control, there is absolutely NO reason anyone should become Pregnant these days...NONE.
If there is a medical need for an abortion, well that is different...I don't like it, but if there is a need, well then it should be done.

AND I PRAY THAT EUTHANASIA WILL BECOME LEGAL SOME DAY.
Dr. Kevorkian was way ahead of his time...but he sure did have the right idea.!!!

WE put our animals "to sleep" because they are in so much pain & we can't handle seeing them in pain...whats the difference here?..sometimes I wonder if we really do care MORE about our animals than we do humans...
it is just NOT right for someone to suffer these days...for days, weeks, months and years...
If you worked with Hospice, you would know exactly what I meant...what families go through watching their loved one slowly dieing, well it rips your heart out.!!!

Abortion, the person has no choice. Euthanasia can be chosen by the individual. The problem with Euthanasia is that it could be done on a person in a coma, who would not have chosen it.

Note: I'm not against legalizing abortion. I believe it should be a moral choice and not a legal one.

I can't see why a horse or dog who is clearly in pain and/or terminally ill and who will clearly not recover can be put to sleep and out of their misery whereas humans are forced to endure an agonising and undignified wait for death. Euthanasia should be allowed in this country. Abortion on the grounds that the foetus is deformed etc should be allowed but it should not be used just to stop a baby being a nuisance.people should use contraception if they wish to avoid unwanted pregnancy, there is no excuse in this day and age.

Abortion.
With euthanasia there is a choice by the person involved.
A foetus does not get a choice with abortion.

As a man I don't think I have the right to say whether or not abortion is wrong. It is a choice I will never have to make and I will never understand what it is like to have to choose one. Euthanasia is also circumstantial and until we understand a person's situation,I don't think anyone needs to pass judgment.

That's such a deep question.
I say abortion because you are ending a person's life which as technically not even begun yet.
They both have their reasons though, and I don't disagree with abortion or euthanasia in the right circumstances.

Roman Catholicism deems both as a violation against the commandment "Thou shall not kill." They are equally considered as murder.

It is a question of law too, not only religion. Legislation in general in the US sometimes varies in each of the 50 states. It is similar in the EU and its member states. Countries in the rest of the world have different approaches as well.

Abortion is legal in many countries, euthanasia in only a few.

Abortion. Euthanasia is performed usually to end an animal's misery. Abortion is performed mostly out of irresponsibilty on the part of the parents. I.E., promiscuity!

They are both taking the life of another human being. Taking a life is wrong. Even the founders knew that.
