Deuteronomy 13:2 If there appears among you a prophet or a dream-diviner and he gives you a sign or a portent, saying, "Let us follow to worship another god"....for the Lord your God is testing you to see whether you really love the Lord your God....Follow none but the Lord your God and revere none but Him."
It doesn't end by saying, "unless its Jesus" or "untill I send my Son whom is also me because He is God too but in flesh...." Please reconcile this with the worship of Jesus Christ. Thanks.

CJ, dont you think God would have included that. It would probably take no more than one verse? Also, the idea of the trinity is not referenced in the OT.

Again, I understand Christian theology on the trinity. Only problem is God does not reference this untill the New Testiment. Why? That is a very large theology jump for people to accept and there is no preperation in the OT.

OK, why wasn't even the possiblilty of a tri-god-head introduced or eluded to in the OT? I become suspicious when a totally new idea about the nature of God appears only in the NT. It doens make sense.

The Bible comes as a unit. Since Jesus is God, that is the test. Does the person agree that Jesus is God? If not, they are false.

Jesus never told people to follow or worship another God. He always made it perfectly clear that this Father and the God of the Old Testament were one and the same, and that that very same God was the only God to be worshiped.
He did say that he and the Father are one. But all that's saying is that he is one with the God of the Old Testament. Again, this is not introducing a new God.

Actually the Trinity is in the OT. The very first reference of the Trinity is in Genesis. There are also many, many places that prophecy the coming of Jesus. Worshiping Jesus is NOT worshiping another god.

Jesus didn't appear until later. There was a lot of prophecy about Christ in the Old Testament, but most of the OT is written about the Jews and the laws FOR them.
God bless!

actually in Genesis- the "trinity" is talked about, even though the word trinity is not in the bible.
Genesis 1:26
Then God said, "Let US make man in OUR image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, [a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus is God (cf. John 8:58, 10:38, 14:10; Col. 2:9). And yes, Jesus DID say he was God. In John 8:58, when quizzed about how he has special knowledge of Abraham, Jesus replies, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I Am"—invoking and applying to himself the personal name of God—"I Am" (Ex. 3:14). His audience understood exactly what he was claiming about himself. "So they took up stones to throw at him; but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple" (John 8:59).
In John 20:28, Thomas falls at Jesus’ feet, exclaiming, "My Lord and my God!" (Greek: Ho Kurios mou kai ho Theos mou—literally, "The Lord of me and the God of me!")
Philippians 2:6 says that Jesus "who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped" (New International Version). So Jesus chose to be born in humble, human form though he could have simply remained in equal glory with the Father for he was "in very nature God."
Also significant are passages that apply the title "the First and the Last" to Jesus (Rev. 1:17). This is one of the Old Testament titles of Yahweh: "Thus says Yahweh, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, Yahweh of armies: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; besides me there is no god’" (Is. 44:6; cf. 41:4, 48:12).
But did the early Christians believe this? YES! Here are some quotes:
Ignatius of Antioch: "Ignatius, also called Theophorus, to the Church at Ephesus in Asia . . . predestined from eternity for a glory that is lasting and unchanging, united and chosen through true suffering by the will of the Father in Jesus Christ our God" (Letter to the Ephesians 1 [A.D. 110]).
Aristides: "[Christians] are they who, above every people of the earth, have found the truth, for they acknowledge God, the Creator and maker of all things, in the only-begotten Son and in the Holy Spirit" (Apology 16 [A.D. 140]).
Clement of Alexandria: "The Word, then, the Christ, is the cause both of our ancient beginning—for he was in God—and of our well-being. And now this same Word has appeared as man. He alone is both God and man, and the source of all our good things" (Exhortation to the Greeks 1:7:1 [A.D. 190]).

God was warning His people about the dangers of following false prophets and being led astray to serve false gods.
if you will start reading the previous chapter, you will get a better understanding of what the scripture is saying.
also, read 13:1-5.....it tells what the outcome is for the "dreamer" or false prophet"

You are right that many worship Christ instead of His and our Creator. Which is why Islam says is there no God but Allah.
That is because one verse was turned into a whole religion. And that's not the way to understand Wisdom Teachings.
We have to take them All in context.
The spirit that lived as Jesus Christ was not our Creator. But He was not just a man. But one of the Highest Order of Life, a Morning Star. Who reopened the doors to spirit that were slowly closing to us.
We should show Honor and Respect to All Life. As that is the way to bring All Life back together into the Body of Christ. And the Morning Star as well, for His sacrifice.

Jesus said it many times. He wasn't a prophet. He was God Incarnate.
-------------------
Mark 14:62 And Jesus said, I AM: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. :63 Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses? :64 Ye have heard the blasphemy:...
John 8:19 Then they said unto Him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. 20 These words spake Jesus in the treasurey, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
John 8:24, "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I AM, you will die in your sins."
John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.
Jesus rewards those who worship Him:
Mat 8:2 And, behold, there came a leper **and worshipped him,** saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
Mat 8:3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
