I am so sick of people disrespecting their own race because of bad experiences. Example, I have had black men tell me that they date white women because they have no drama and they will do "anything"???? Ok first of all, most have people regardless of race have experienced some drama in their life whether it be major or minor. I have dated outside of my race but would never disrespect my own. Most people have been in bad relationships(I say most because the divorce rate is at 50%). I have had bad experiences(relationships) with black men, Latino men and white men and guess what? It was all the same BS that women hate! Lying and cheating! So again, what does race have to do with it? Nothing! A message to white, Latina, Asian and every non-black/African American females: don't ever date anyone who is pretty much with you because of you skin color or hair texture...you get me? Date a man that will respect and love YOU for YOU.

The reason I ask is because it is my understanding that the LDS believe happiness is achievable in this life. Is it? Or is my perception of Mormonism in regard to happiness wrong?

christians, you say that god knows everything, and you are one with god and he is everywhere blah di blah. so my question is why do you still come on here and ask "why"? if you are one with god and god knows everything, then there should be no need to ask "why" should there?

I was led to a site on childhood beliefs. Example: I used to believe that "help wanted" signs meant that someone had robbed the store very recently and needed help trying to catch the thief.

since i have found you wonderful people in seniors, now it is.

I have been briefly reading through some translated pieces of Quran and Hadd and there is something I don't understand.

Allah seems to threaten everyone with fire who doesn't follow his rules Muslim or not. That sounds pretty standard for a Monotheistic Religion, the bit that confuses me is the masses of instructions on how Non-Muslims should be treated and effectively wounded or killed.

What confuses me is the fact he needs his chosen people to harm others in his name, as if he cannot himself.

For example 5:33(you should know what I am talking about) If he wants people dismembered for not following him, why does he not do it himself? Note: I could give you over 30 references to him stating you should act violently, but I choose not too.

So why does an all Power Diety of any type need people to act in his name against those he dislikes?
Seriously if Allah has a problem with say me for example why doesn't he challenge me, instead of sending minions?

I don't understand it.I am an 18 year old girl and would HATE to be famous.Everybody recognising you while walking down the street would be my idea of hell! Also the cameras shoved in your face every second would be pretty horrible! It's not glamourous or easy like people seem to think.I would hate it.I've had my moment of fame as my video I posted on youtube was the highest watched video for some weeks and on myspace it has been in the top ten since I posted it.That is quite nice as you get the buzz of realising you've achieived something without the thought of having to be known

how about this! if god is omnipresent (which some book says he is) and god is omnipotent (which that same books says so, sorry can't remember the name, you know the one all about religion and junk??) than if god chose to go to Belgium (and only god knows why anyone would do that) well he would be already there, meaning he was unable to make that decision which means he's not omnipotent, if he choose not to be in Belgium (wise that he is) than he'd truly be omnipotent but not omnipresent! hows is this! or is that book a crock of cr*p and telling lies!!

I can not say no to people as i don`t wish to hurt anyone.
I agree to go places even if i don`t really want to.
when stopped in town and asked if i will changed to cable or change gas supplier i can`t get away. My husband goes mad with me about it. I sign up then have to cancel. I am sick of myself as i am old enough to know better.
