This is the ultimate wager, one where we are actually proven that we are not immortal, not invinceable and the ultimate proof that we are not in control of our own destiny not really. Death should be all the proof that an Atheist needs that their is a higher power. Anyway, great question.

Do all accept it, no I can't say that they do, do they succomb to it, yes definitely. How do I accept it? As a Christian my own Death is a home coming, and will be welcomed. As a human being the death of a loved one is harder to accept and not so easily welcomed. As a Christian the sting of my personal loss is softened by the thought that they are now with Jesus Christ. Waiting for me.

When you have a condition approaching death, you learn the answer. Just accept it as the sleep it is. The Bible tells us death is like sleep with no pain or pleasure.

I have the hope of resurrection on a paradise earth after all this evil is wiped away.

I don't actually. When I actually consider it, I have to admit that I have no concept of life without me. When I was a little kid I had a very difficult time understanding that things happened without my being there to witness them. I'm a Christian and so believe that I will go on. But if it turns out that the atheists are right, that's still no problem. It's not like I'll know. But if those who believe in reincarnation are right, I think that will suck. Once I'm outta here, I really don't want to come back.

I haven't had to yet.

Ironically enough, death is the only fair thing in life - it happens to everyone. It's inevitable, so I don't worry too much about it.
