christians, you say that god knows everything, and you are one with god and he is everywhere blah di blah. so my question is why do you still come on here and ask "why"? if you are one with god and god knows everything, then there should be no need to ask "why" should there?

Just because God knows everything does not mean Christians know everything or think we know everything.

What human has ALL the answers? No one! We are merely humans, not God. Believers say we are one with God meaning we will be with HIm eternally if we are saved by His graces. Not meaning we are just like Him. Your interpretation of this is wrong, thus making you ask this question. ONLY God know everything all the time. Not one human has ever known it all. We will know tons more after our bodily death. When we meet Him face to face. But while on earth, we only know what God has revealed to us.

I am Catholic, been such since my baptism in 1971. I still have questions. Every time I read the Bible, I understand more and sometimes it brings up more questions. God in ineffable. He reveals more things about Him as time goes on. He hasn't let us know it all right now. I believe our earthly minds could never retain it all and understand it all. And even as some of us begin to know things, some still don't get it nor believe it.

So please don't prejudge Christians for not "Knowing it all". Thanks!

I believe that everyone must follow their own path to God, but since it is an important part of my life, I find it interesting to see how other people are undertaking their own journeys. I doubt there's anyone here who believes exactly as I do, and I think that's cool.

Why is a good question... it helps you understand things better.
I have more respect for a religious person who asks why than someone who screams faith faith faith all the time.
