That maybe Mary got pregnat from somethin' other than sex? Ye can get pregnant from pretty much anythin' these days, isn't it possible that a dirty old peasant "releived himself" near Mary and she just picked up his tadpoles from a chair or somethin'?

I'm pretty sure it required sperm, which from my understanding of the mechanics of the male body (as a VERY interested outside observer), doesn't have a real easy time of coming out simultaneously with urine.

**Thanx for the clarification. I still think it would have been difficult with the long robes in fashion at the time, but maybe doable.

The chances of that happening are almost impossible. Sperm cannot survive outside the body for more than a few seconds.

Not exactly immaculate, but far more likely.

You do know they wrote the virginity thing in centuries after the fact?

Hmmm it's a long bow you draw to shoot holes in the story. If it's to be done, I prefer more logical approaches.

about the only thing she could of caught like that would be crabs.
I believe the powers that be would of edited this out.
Might of made her sound more human if you ask me.
