It seems to me that if someone believes a god could exist at all, then they have hundreds to choose from, and thousands, or hundreds of thousands of religions, sects, churches and cults to choose from. What are the chances that they just happen to pick the right one? They would have to be extraordinarily lucky to get everything right and avoid the vengeance of some other god, and an eternity of torture in some alternative afterlife. Maybe the 'right' god hasn't even been discovered yet, and the 'right' religion, sect, church or cult not yet invented, so they have no chance at all.
Surely anyone who believes that a god could possibly exist ought to be very worried indeed...
