Your definition of "bad" may need some work, my friend.

My mother died. Is that bad? Sure, it makes my life harder. But, it means that my beloved mother gets to spend eternity in Heaven, with God. How can that be bad?

You lose your job. Is that bad? Odds are you did not like your job, and you will get another one. Without losing your job, you never would have had the new one, and met Jenny, who will soon be your wife.

Second, you have free will. So do approximately 6 billion other people on Earth. That means that THEIR free-will counts, too. Maybe someone's free will says they want to hit your car with a hammer. "Bad" for you, but it makes their free will work.

Good luck!

Kinda vague, so you want to live in a prefect sterile world were God controls every move and nothing bad happens? If God did that there would be no TV (sin-full box) alcohol (AMEN) or anything else that would take you away from serving God fully. Because full service your entire life to God will give you blessings from him and no trouble. Sin causes trouble not God. Sometimes we go thru thing just so God can get our attention or so we can grow from our troubles. Your trying to make God in your image and wanting him to be your santa so you can sit on his lap and you can have a great life without guilt of hell.

Our faith gives us the power to handle setbacks in life. We all have them. If being a Christian meant an easy life the churches would be full on Sunday. We look forward to Eternal Life with our Heavenly Father. . God didn't promise life would be easy. He said it would be worth it.

Please explain what you mean about ad stuff happening anyway. Bad stuff happens to the most faithful Christian. No one needs religion, but everyone needs to accept Christ as Savior in order to spend eternity in heaven.

Are you suggesting that the only reason to believe in God is so bad stuff won't happen to you? God uses bad stuff to make us stronger, to teach us, to bring people closer, ect. If you will notice there is Good that comes from bad all the time. You have to look for it sometimes but it is there. It is a great tool to bring us closer to him.

For the remission of sin, for the clearing of your conscience, for a wonderful life and for eternal life .

Isn't that enough?

It's more then the opposition is offering you!

If you don't want to follow a religion, then don't. Nobody is twisting your arm.

Ok - maybe the Christians are twisting your arm... ;-)

But you STILL don't have to follow a religion if you don't want to.

What that free will are you doing things bad by your choice of decision? Are you following God; do you do what Jesus ask of you? Can I say one thing? "You reap what you sow."
