God is unconditional love and Jesus showed us it in action, of ourselves I think we are unable to love unconditionally, (we need the grace of God) but yet we are commanded to strive for this and try each day to be more like Christ, the more we practice this the more we grow in Christian maturity.

The spirit of unconditional love in which these challenges were phrased succeeded in overcoming the fears and uncertainties of those whom the Master addressed.

The more fear we rid ourselves of, the easier to practice unconditional Love, and it does take practice. Other emotions come so easy, but unconditional love involves much work on ourselves, such as letting go of all resentments, understanding true equality of being through the practice of non judgment.

Through effort Purity level of unconditional love could be increased.
When a rare one gets fully soaked in that love, divinity reveals itself in Toto.
Unconditional love help the one much more who practice it than the one to whom it is offered..
World is nothing but a relection of what u r.

You are right that it is possible, but unfortunately putting it into practice in this real world causes unwelcome side-effects. For example, I offered to die in my brother's place seven years ago and my wife left me as a result on the sensible grounds that she would then have less money available for shopping at Harvey Nichols.
Obviously my plan worked and none of us are dead but I am unsure what advice to offer...

Sounds like pure idealism, which is nice, but can also get you into a lot of trouble in the 'real world'.
I think we can operate functionally in society while still pursuing our ideals, and hopefully letting them guide us in our actions.

Love isn't an abstract. It's always applied. Love, without an object, is a platitude. You have to find something worthy of love. That is the quest. Not for love, but for something worthy of your love.

No. Because its asking to be abused. Only the stupid allow that. Love must have conditions on it for it to mean anything.
