why do christians pray for good jobs, seek promotions, pray for success in their businesses and work hard to get money. Money is almost always aimed at acquiring worldly possessions which we desire and this bible verse says we should'nt.
Am totally lost on this one.

I know it awhile off, but I just relized I have a bit of a problem.

On easter on finishing what my parents stopped by getting confirmed into the catholic church. My parents left the church when I was 9. They hate catholics, when I told them I was going back they said they would rather I be a satanists.
What am I going to tell them when Im not home on Easter?

I've never had surgery before and I'm going to have surgery on my wrist in two weeks. I assume I will have to take my clothes off and wear a gown, but will they make me take my underwear and sports bra off too? If they say it is optional or if I have to keep my bra on, do they still make you wear a gown?? The way I look at it is if my sports bra is on, then I got nothin' to hide....so I would rather not wear the gown if my sports bra is on...do you think they will allow that?? Most of the time at home I'm in just my sports bra anyway, so for me it's no big deal (if I have my sports bra on). Thanks in advance!

and the spirit from inside looks far better then the cloth of dirt..our skin of spirit is brighter..and our hair is softer...we wear a hair mask of dirt...and dirt lips over our lips of spirit..and some eyeglasses of dirt over our eyes of spirit...but mainly the spirit looks like the body..not like a sphere!God...

Think about the people you love. What could they do that would cause you to forever excommunicate them? What could they do that would cause you to punish them eternally? What could they do to make you decide that you want them to stay away from you for eternity, with no hope of redemption?

If you can think of anything, then those are the conditions under which you would continue to love them. If you can't think of anything that would cause you to do those things, then you love that person unconditionally.

Now, when you talk about a god's unconditional love, then you are saying that regardless of what a person says, does, or thinks, that particular god loves them and would never do anything to eternally separate itself from them, especially not things as trivial as not believing a religion of a people that you never knew. Would you call it love if Zeus is the true god, and since you didn't believe it he sent you off to burn for eternity in Hades?
