The story of Adam and Eve is an Allegory told in the first book of the bible, not fact. If you think about it (after first reading genesis) you will realize why it is not fact. Because if it were to be true, then god killed 99.9% of all Adam and Eve's children in a great flood. Also, having being born of Adam's rib, Eve would have been genetically identical to Adam, thus she would have more aptly been named Steve.

Dude, I don't even believe the story, but it's pretty clear in Genesis ... the story says that God made Adam from the dust of the earth, and Eve from Adam.

well clearly in geneses is states that god made our flesh from the dirt of the ground so our bodise are not important to him just what we must have to walk this place if your not in body you cant walk this earth as of rite now also it stated that god knew us all before he mde us meening we all were created at the same time just ariving here at difrent times so that we maye deside if we are going to love our father or falow satan all races were made one the 6th day not just adem and eve but the were the example used to explain how man was tricked into falowing sin god dose not know if you are going to love him that is part of why we have to life this life to show him if we do so that he my let us join him in etarnal like intead of being sent to hell to be destoied couse if we dint choose to love him than we chose to loce our self only or satan wish in bot are evel and will all parith at the end after jugment day if you wanna talk more just rite me

Adam and Eve are mentioned in the Bible, and it is there that you will find your answers. There is NO debate. God said "Let us make man in our image after our likeness."
