spell check :-)
The story of Adam and Eve is an Allegory told in the first book of the bible, not fact. If you think about it (after first reading genesis) you will realize why it is not fact. Because if it were to be true, then god killed 99.9% of all Adam and Eve's children in a great flood. Also, having being born of Adam's rib, Eve would have been genetically identical to Adam, thus she would have more aptly been named Steve.

Dude, I don't even believe the story, but it's pretty clear in Genesis ... the story says that God made Adam from the dust of the earth, and Eve from Adam.
LOL, what is with all the thumbs-down for everyone accurately answering the question?

The people who made Adam & Eve were the writers of the bible. It is a fairy tale.

I'm sorry to say this, but you need to go back to school.
Adam and Eve are mentioned in the Bible, and it is there that you will find your answers. There is NO debate. God said "Let us make man in our image after our likeness."

The Holy Trilogy, The Seven Spirits of God.
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Chrissy,
Genesis 1 tells us that our FATHER created all things. GOD created this world and everything that is in it. Have a wonderful week.
