the thing is for me, i feel the force of nature, and wonder at its splendour, but i am an atheist as well, if thats possible, i simply do not believe in god, and worry pagansim would not accomodate this. christianity has always seemed hypocrictical to me.

Many of us view deites as symbols and archetypes rather than actual real being. On this board it seems to me about a third of the pagans feel that way.

Not sure what you mean by a problem with the notion of a diety? All religions have a diety in one way or another...that is well understood. And in the pagan beliefs it takes a male force and a female force to produce life....and that is reflected throughout nature and the world. Have a good reflective think about it...wish you luck. Also, there is a spiritualness in everything...but don't presecute yourself if you find that you cannot accpt the notion of a diety....just do what you feel comfortable with. Hope this extra bit helps you.

Deity is not necessary. There may or may not be a god. You will never know in this life. Act well, act with good intentions. Life will go on but you'll be happy

As a 'people' I would think you should not seek a religion. After all, isn't a religion a faith in some sort of deity by definition of today's standards?

You sound as though you have more in common with the native american indians than pagans although tere are similarities between the two.

By recognizing the forces of nature you are recognizing the divine presence in them.

I believe that you are running from the Lord and to a false religion which is no benefit whatsoever.
