How can you assume you know a person well enough to insult them when they ask a religious question.

It's easy for people to insult someone on a monitor because there is no accountability. I would bet most of these insults wouldn't happen in a face to face conversation or even in a live group type situation. I also would call it shallow and childish.

On this forum no one knows anyone so they insult the question and not the person. On a debate forum, which is what Religion and Spirituality has turned into since it has been invaded by atheists, the questions and answers are insulted or assaulted verbally.
I have my old saying, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." Do not let people offend you. They can only offend you with keypunched words if you let them. For this reason, I do not see legally how "hate crimes" motivation can be upheld in court. Many people say things to harm with their tongue, but they would never physically harm anyone.
The truth of God is that "for every idle word that we speak (or type on this forum) we will be held accountable to God for speaking or saying or typing it.

For me,it,s not insulting anyone,when I think someone is in danger I try to warn them,No way meaning it as a insult.

it depends where the wquestion is asked, people are so sensitive about issues that are there to be unpicked.
i dont get upset if people object to me being vegan life's too short.
