One of the problems with man trying to date something is the fact that God made everything in its prime. Adam and Eve were not Kids, every animal and every tree plant rock mountain all this stuff was made by God in an instant. There was no original growth that took place. Also there are probably just as many scientists against carbon dating as they are for. Its not a reliable way of looking for the age of something, the most reliable would be that when something is born we give it a birth certificate, how about that, the next time you mountain pop up, right the name down, or a new rock form, the fact of the matter is that man in all his technology cannot create anything, not one thing, we can invent, but not create, with 6000 years of recorded history not one time is it recorded where man actually created something, huh, what about that,. sounds like the Bible is the truth, no matter what some scientist says!!!

No given the large number of fossils and species found and the various dating methods used, one must accept that fossils do indeed extend back for millions of years. At this point there is no indication or evidence to point to a "young earth" or that earth is anything significantly less than 4+billion years old. If this is a problem for your religious beliefs, then maybe you should examine the evidence for them.
Carbon dating is not used (or useful) for items over 70,000 years old and is generally used by archaeologists as opposed to paleontologists. Paleontologists use "Radiometric dating" which is based on the comparison of several different isotopes.

Actually carbon dating can only go back a maximum of about 70,000 years. After 70,000 years all the C-14 is gone! That's why it is so astonishing to find C-14 in EVERY fossil ever tested for it......

No I don't think that satan tampered with the fossils.
In the first place, the first time satan showed up was in the good book and the folks who invented it didn't know or even care what a fossil was, but they sure did need satan to make their religion believeable.
Grandma said at the dinner table after she led the prayer thanking god for our food, and sitting down to eat, "Just look what happened to those folks in the gulf, they been livin wrong so satan got them with a hurricane."
Same thought process, different timeline. Isn't it time we got real.

"CARBON DATING" has a maximum effective range around 50,000 years. Anything over 500,000 years is definitely NOT a realistic claim based on carbon dating.
There are several dating methods which rely on radioactive decay besides C14 --> C12. Some of these methods quite accurately predict dates in the 1,000,000+ year range, but carbon dating DOES NOT.Please study the background of your question so you can discuss and understand the basic concepts.

you should read about how they actually carbon date something i think you will be in for a surprise. there are only two places in the world that does carbon dating. in order to get something carbon dated you first need to indicate your intentions ie: is it for scientific purposes or is it religious. secondly you have to provide information on the strata layer where the object was found. they then date the rock by which strata layer it was recovered from. the age of the strata layer is determined by the age of the objects found in it. it has been proved that carbon dating is only accurate to a few thousand years as the further back you try and date something the scale of tolerance is also multiplied relatively

Either you're being very facetious, or you are simply ignorant. Carbon dating a scientific test that measures the amount of the carbon isotope 14 to determine the age of an object.

Think on it this way...
The Earth was created, it may have even been recreated several million times depending on what the powers decided to do. Carbon may have existed for millions of years before it was part of the earth.
Now, imagine that the earth rotated much slower and in a different orbit, causing less gravity, which allowed time to pass much slower that it its now measured.
No doubt, the Earth was created, but when was time created in relationship to the sun and the night and day cycle.

Both are unreliable, Satan and carbon dating.
The Bible makes no claims one way or the other about dinos so your attempt at an argument is mute.
