How would I say "online"? As in, 'I like to talk online'. Or "instant message"....just something along those lines.

And...another random question: if I have a female cat, do I still say "mon chat"?

No online translations, please, and thank you in advance =]

Asalamualaikum,
obviously as we all know, we can't eat or drink while fasting. But when I make Wudu for prayer, when rinsing my mouth I can't gargle properly and I end up swalling some water. It happens accidently because I can't gargle! Will this invalidate my fast?

PS - Ramadan Mubarak to all

When John Stuart Mill [19th century utilitarian] advocated this policy, Britain was not facing attacks from Wahhabis. Permitting 100% freedom of speech would mean alllowing Wahhabi terrorists like 'Abu Hamza' [Doctor Hook] to stay in the country, preach their Wahabbi ism with impunity and even receive free healthcare and benefits. This is obviously not something anyone wants to see. So is it time we dropped the idea of unconditional freedom of speech as being totally unrealistic, i.e. a pipe dream? Why should we allow the wahhabis to do as they please?

I know it's absurd and hopefully it will never happen. But asuming some law would force you in sticking to some religion, to "convert" to a religion (i guess it's not the right word) knowing that you will also be forced to follow some of the rituals, what would you chose?

At the monthly informal BBQ at the local distribution centre of a large multi-national company where everyone is on a first-name basis, the weather is poor so everyone is sitting in the lunch room after getting their food. At one point three managers and an out-of-town corporate VIP enter the room and there is nowhere for them to sit. According to protocol, what should happen:
1. individuals should offer their seats?
2. a supervisor should offer his seat and those of the people in his department?
3. the late-comers are out-of-luck and should find another room?
4. a table should have been reserved for the managers and their guest?
5. something else?

What Is a Tool for Your Hands for God to use?

With the tip of the staff that was in his hand, the angel of the Lord touched the meat and the unleavened bread. Fire flared from the rock, consuming the meat and the bread. And the angel of the Lord disappeared. - Judges 6:21

How does God call people into His service? There is a clear pattern in the way God calls men and women into service for Him. Almost every major leader has been called while he or she was in the midst of performing his or her everyday vocation. Peter was a fisherman; Matthew, a tax collector; Luke, a physician; Paul, a tentmaker; Moses, a shepherd; Jesus, a carpenter; and so on.

When God called Gideon to free the people of Israel from the oppression of the Amalekites, he did so while Gideon was threshing wheat in a winepress. Like Moses, Gideon argued with God, saying his family was nothing special, so how could he be used of God to save Israel? Gideon acknowledged God by preparing an offering to Him.

Benefit of the gods?

Humans have done very little in 10,000 years but make babies and fight amonst himself. The spiritual knowledge today has alwaya been there for those who seek. But everybody was caught up in the mundane things of trying to survive. Our Creator is giving us a boost! To prepare us for the Times ahead.

The Bible commands us to judge "RIGHTEOUS" judgment.
This means that we have the ability to judge what things seem right and what things seem wrong. Of course, it also says, judge not that ye be not judged, but this infers that if we judge righteous judgment, we will also be judged as righteous....
So God judged the Earth as unrighteous, except for Noah and his family and the animals on the Ark.
This cataclysm must have been a nightmare for the remaining people on Earth... To drown.. or be struck by lightening... or to be crushed... I'm sure there were babies taking their first steps when the Earth began to tremble.
Why was God so far away from men that they had become so evil? Why did God create men, who would be so predisposed to choose evil? God repented of making men, and later, repented of killing them all. Oh, it's all there in the Bible.
It also says that man, after the flood was just as evil as man before the flood, which nullifies the whole purpose of the flood.

This is a question I asked some Jehovahs witness' that came to my doorstep. Answer: What do you mean? We have it right here in the Bible. Look!

What they showed me is not the first letter Paul wrote to the Corinthians. In this very letter, Paul reminds the Corinthians that he had already written to them a letter before this one. Read verses 9 and 11 in the folowing passage from Paul's so-called first letter to the Corinthians, chapter 5: 9. In my letter I wrote you to quit mixing in company with fornicators . . . . 11. But now I am writing you to quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator . . . . Obviously, in verse 9 above, Paul is referring to what he had written in a previous letter. In verse 11, Paul is making a change to his previous instruction.

Some people will try to convince you that there was no previous letter. But now you know how to demonstrate this truth to such a person. So, now, where is that previous letter?
