I would like to find a greek or latin word or phrase that sounds pleasing, is easy to pronounce, and that means something related to the goals of a counseling practice, such as:
"To Walk With"
"Wholeness"
"Healing"
"Hand in Hand"

Would love to have an email conversation with anyone who can help out.

I went to visit some family in Utah whom I hadn't seen or contacted in nearly 10 years and my aunt had half of her garage devoted to stored food. I mean it she must have had like 150 cans of food and vacuum sealed grain. It almost reminded me of those movies that depict the nuclear scare of the 50's where everyone was building bomb shelters. Well I asked her what the huge surplus was about and she ranted about "the end of the world". She told me the prophet told her to do it. Another thing is my aunt suffers from dementia so her answers to anything always seem a little paranoid. Any PRACTICING LDS out there that can tell me the reasons to such food storage? Is the church expecting the millenium? Another flood like in Noah's day? Has the general authorities given any reasons for this, or have they pretty much just said "Trust us, you need to start storing food"?

Why? If someone is a good person (nonChristian), why do people say they go to hell, when a man with a lifetime of wrongdoing, hate and violence could repent and on his deathbed and get in?

This is just what I gather from hearing people talk....Why isn't actions what you are judged by?

I don't belive in heaven or hell, but this belief seems incredibly unjust. Can someone explain?

Lets say you feel you are called to be a Missionary, you want to serve God, spread the gospel and tell others about Jesus Christ, however you are worried about so many things.
1. Will I be a good speaker or will I be shy in front of people?
2. how will my income be?
3. I want to do it right now but what if it is not the right path?
4. I want to do it but parents are worried...

If you were called to be a missionary, pastor, I am sure you guys thought about this. How did you respond? what is best thing to do?

I didn't know the pyramid and the seeing eye is connected to Satanism!!! How scary is that?! What is appalling is why did they put God on it with that symbol's. "In God We Trust". What is going to happen to America?
Just in case anybody ask about my source, I learned it here on R&S by other Christian's. So is that True or False about the symbol's?
Your opinion about this, because if it is so, now when I look at the money in my hand I will have this uneasy feeling. You know what I mean.

In a lot of Asian communities, eating shark fin is thought to cure diseases, extend life and make men more virile. Science has tested this theory hundreds of times and it turns out shark fin does none of these things. But people refuse to believe the science, Why?
The EXACT same belief exists in African countries concerning black rhino horn. Science has tested these theories and all of them are false.

Christians believe the bible is the word of god. But then a man did some research and wrote the book Misquoting Jesus. It is proof that the bible is a lie, that it has been falsified and made up by translators and scribes for 1700 years (until the advent of the printing press.) The bible is a story, a lie, and the evidence is right there, in that book. You cannot dispute it because the evidence is tangible, it is real, written down in ancient texts.
But you still insist that it IS real, that it IS the truth, that it IS the word of god. Why?

the gospel, would you actually have lives? or are you all just selfish? Christians always say this life doesn't matter but if it really didn't why do you guys spend your times enjoying things of the world and not working your arses off "saving people."

I do wrong things and someone else suffers for my sins... That's Paul's Gospel of sacrifice for sins.

Jesus didn't preach that kind of law... he said "I will have mercy, not sacrifice." You forgive others and God will forgive you. The Real gospel seems to be a gospel of Responsibility.

I pass the punishment on to someone else sounds irresponsible to me.

Responsibility and irresponsibility, isn't that the basic difference between Paul's gospel and the Gospel Jesus preached?

I can't stand it when people block the doorway having their discussions, so I just bowled over them as though they were pins. I did turn around to say, "Excuse me," but I thinks the damage was already done. They gave some pretty evil looks.

Face it folks, evolution is not grounded on science, but on the belief or desire that there is no god. I've read the books and there is nothing there but a whole lot of, " I postulate", " maybe this or that". No hard evidence.

I can find lots of manuscript, archaeological, historical, and philosophical evidence to support the claims of the Bible, especially the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Not one shred of hard evidence exists to show that the universe, planet Earth, zebras, people, fleas or even subatomic particles just came out of nothing.

BTW, Christians believe the Biblical account of creation because we believe in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, an event that is an historical fact.

IT TAKES MORE FAITH TO BELIEVE THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION THAN IT TAKES TO BELIEVE THE BIBLE.
