time a catholic didn't go to mass and people were wondering where they were or even contacted them to ask why they didn't come or when someone new comes to mass who notices... well this is the opposite in protestant churches where they basically monitor you, it might be the churches I attended growing up but iv notice this, which steps on the line of cultism

(my question was somewhere up there....)

It can't just be faith alone, right? There must be something in your experience, observations and logic that convinces you that God is real. I would like to know what that is.

that constantine made up new doctrine and stuff like that.... my question is if this is true why didn't they just change the bible to fit their exact view, it wouldn't be hard since they had the bible to interpert for their own selves for over 1000 years ?

Sorry for picking on yall so much I just grew up one of you and know that what you believe makes no sense. thanks.

I thought that was a stupid question...am I being too sensitive?

Just out of curiosity here. We are always told that if you have a problem with your boss/ manager/superior etc. You can go above their heads without fear of retaliation. Has anyone ever done this? and if so what kind of retaliation did you get from your superior if any?

Its a well known fact the date is DAY, MONTH, YEAR in the proper world so why do you Americans have to swap things round and try (but fail) to confuse a well established system.

Oh yeah and its HEADING not HEADED when you are talking about road directions.

1) Matthew 1:23 says that Jesus (the messiah) would be called Immanuel, which means "God with us." Yet no one, not even his parents, call him Immanuel at any point in the bible.

2) The Messiah must be a physical descendant of David (Romans 1:3 & Acts 2:30). Yet, how could Jesus meet this requirement since his genealogies in Matthew 1 and Luke 3 show he descended from David through Joseph, who was not his natural father because of the Virgin Birth. Hence, this prophecy could not have been fulfilled.

3) Isaiah 7:16 seems to say that before Jesus had reached the age of maturity, both of the Jewish countries would be destroyed. Yet there is no mention of this prophecy being fulfilled in the New Testament with the coming of Jesus, hence this is another Messiah prophecy not fulfilled.

Yes, I'm all braced for the "you follow Satan and not Jesus" answers, along with the "you follow imaginary beings" answers.

I just hope someone actually answers this the way I want it to be answered. x_x;

Personally, if I see one more unoriginal "sexy school girl" costume, I'm going to go homicidal. It's not cute, its not original... its tired and sad, and shows just how stupid you really are.

I was reading a "Top 10 Reasons to be Atheist" post on the internet, and it was totally silly & ridiculous. A Christian got hiffy about it and wrote:

"there is no DNA that can make you smarter, so if we evolved from apes we shouldnt be smarter than they are- evolution cant produce that. Now, who believe in fairy tales?"
