being called an "animal" is offensive to some people. What is wrong with that?

Well it depends in what context they're being called it, and i find that most people use it as a form of offense in which case taken offense is natural. But yes thanks for pointing out the obvious humans are animals and frankly the worse animals on this planet.

Humans are not animals, even though there are some that would be a disgrace to the animal kingdom.. Humans supposedly are a higher form of life and have greater intelligence and a soul. Too bad some don't live up to that premise. However, man was created in God's image.

animals have no sense of being. they don't know the difference between today and tomorrow. people!!! we are just specs of dust in a vast universe where our galaxy may be small as a pore on your face. so umm... we are animals we just have a since of being.(not a very good one though lol)

I don't mind being called an animal - that's what we are, after all.

If someone calls you a ape, monkey, gorilla because your black wouldn't that be offensive. I am not a animal and I do not appreciate someone referring to me as an animal.

We are made in the image of God. God is not an animal. Have a nice day.
