the gospel, would you actually have lives? or are you all just selfish? Christians always say this life doesn't matter but if it really didn't why do you guys spend your times enjoying things of the world and not working your arses off "saving people."

Hmmm...generalization is generally bad right? Why do you assume ALL Christians are acting this way? :)

The problem is that not many people are willing to listen any more. Even if someone has never talked to someone who is Christian (highly unlikely in the US, but possible), there are usually people spreading pretty nasty rumors about us. Beyond that, there are also communities that call themselves Christian, but act in manners opposite of what Jesus would, and people pick that up and run with it, making or keeping presuppositions (yes, that's my big word of the day, check it out in a dictionary under presuppose) about us. So when someone who is following the Lord comes up to someone and asks something like "Has anyone ever told you about the Bible, or Jesus the Christ?" people usually get uneasy, or defensive, or even aggressive because of the ideas of "what the Christians are really like" they've formed from outside sources.

Yes, we would have lives. I have a wife and 3 kids, and I do my best to lead them and provide for them. As for me working my butt of to save people, it's not my job to save them. I didn't die for their sins, so thus I can't save them. My job as a Christian is to plant the seeds, to tell people about Jesus and why we need Him. The rest after that is up to God. If I were to continually try and "save" people, I would probably get the response "I don't need saved, thanks" and end up pushing them away.

As for enjoyment in life, I'm guilty of doing things like watching tv, movies, playing video games and wasting some time, but that does not mean that when God calls me to do something, I put Him off. It means that when God wants something of me, then that's what I do.

I know this is kind of long, but I hope it enlightens you a little bit to at least who I am as a Christian.

Well, there are basic things we all have to do in life which doesn't leave a lot of time for soul-winning. However, your point is well taken. Probably most of us could do better. Some of us are trying to win souls on Yahoo. And yes, we are all selfish. God came to save sinners, not the righteous.

the bible says that to each is given a job to do, "some are encouragers, others evangelists, others teacher, others healers of the sick, others tend the poor." Not everybody can be everything ot all men, nor are all called to be harvesters of souls. I work a job, care for my family and donate to missions. That is my calling. I have, however, been there to guide one or two souls to Christ at crisis points in their lives and I'm sure my saviour will be happy with that. Christ also said that if someone rejects your sharing of the Gospel, you are to " shake the dust from your feet" and leave them to the fate they have chosen.

because God wouldn't put us on earth if he didnt want us to have some fun but yes we should try to save as many souls as we can but if they dont listen how is that our problem because we tried and yeah im a christian but im even having some fun tonight because im going to a school dance at 7:00 so if u think were just people who have no lives maybe you should try watching some christian people in ur neighbor hood and how much do u wanna bet they'll be smiling more than you do.

That's what I'm doing here. I'm doing some of my part on here my showing love, compassion, and understanding. I show what God has done for me and hope that other will be at least open to the idea of accepting Jesus and God into their life. I also, spend much of my free time volunteering. I do what i can, but there is always room for more.

Many of us...including myself....do. I talk about God...to God...etc... and have a very full life, thank you. Good question to get others thinking. I see you too are doing your part to spread the Gospel. Keep it up.

True Christians do, but then you accuse them of being annoying jerks who knock on your door.
And then, when we do show up, you call us brainwashed, a cult, and what not, there just is no pleasing you people, which is OK, because, it was foretold long ago, that the majority of humans would not only be unreasonable, but would be combative, and backbiters, who were actually earning their own end.

Well isn't this the damnest thing I have ever seen:
THATS WHAT WE ARE DOING WHEN YOU ACCUSE US DAY AND NIGHT OF
"SHOVING RELIGION DOWN PEOPLE'S THROATS".
Wow, this is the most blatent example of
"damned if ya do; damned if ya don't" I
have ever witnessed.

You don't even deserve an answer;
Physician, Heal thyself.
