Gnostic, Is that true? People can say Jesus Christ is LORD by the devil too, if it is said by a devil spirit. Meaning that there will be a mockery in the confession. That it isn't honest from their heart. So? I don't believe that Person who hurt you two, confessed Jesus Christ LORD, but said so in an act of mockery.
I have heard people confess Jesus Christ Lord & their voice is mocking. That isn't confessing Jesus Christ Lord by the Holy Spirit. The spirit of the voice can be discerned by the sound many times.

I don't understand the 'I know Christ & you are no Christ' part though. Is that to this person who did this to you & yours?
Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. Jesus Christ is LORD. Not the guy who hurt you. He wasn't even a born again Christian obviously.

Allow me to quote the guys that attacked my boyfriend and I in 1979.
"Jesus Christ is Lord you F***ing Witch!"
I wound up with broken teeth and my hand was cut to the bone. My boyfriend had his ribs broken and his lung pierced. His internal hemorrhaging made his blood test show him as anemic.
We went bankrupt from the medical expenses.
I know Christ and you are no Christ.

Christ taught Christians better, but what passes for Christians is almost completely superstition these days and VERY negative if not as hateful as what happened to me. They were quite serious, trust me.
I came to Christ when the FATHER called me.
All of this is against peace. Christ is that which holds all things together. Christ, like the Father, like myself, is Love.

That's a common religious belief but it's also an unresolvable paradox. One can't have faith without the Holy Spirit yet one can't have the Holy Spirit without faith.
