Why aren't all those punishments God placed upon humanity when He cast Adam & Eve out of Eden lifted off of those who accept Jesus?

A lot of people say they are Saved and are Born Again, and they say their Salvation was immediate but I see no difference between them and anyone else other than those who say they are Saved are all caught up on Jesus like a fish on a hook ... but we all still have the same burdens regardless.

God's Words in Eden obviously still stand. Isn't it more that we accept the burdens of God's punishments as written in Genesis and then God will judge each of us on our own integrity ... and blessed will be those who did NOT run to a man named "Jesus." Something to think about, eh?

Would God be considered beyond reproach if he behaved immorally? If not, would God punish himself for behaving immorally or would he let Satan do it?

I asked a question about Christians insulting other Christian groups. What kind of answers did I get? Christians insulting the other Christian group in question! Is it so hard to leave your prejudices long enough to answer a question?

Can Heaven really be a place, when your heaven might be my hell?

For example, say a murder goes to hell, he has a family in heaven and they miss him, how can heaven be perfect if a mother is left loning for her child for eternity?

or is it merely a man made concept because no-one is truely good nor evil, but more a mixture of the 2?

Simple question...

Does what you believe confirm a well deserved sense of importance and significance, or does it make you unimportant, inconsequential, and insignificant?

What about your beliefs make the above true, and is this the best way to live?

Is it ridiculous, egotistical, narcissistic, fatalist, pessimistic, etc. to believe what you do or what others do? Why?

Today, while at the gas station, I was downwind of a woman who was wearing probably the STRONGEST perfume I've smelled in my life! Heck, it was even overpowering the smell of the gasoline! Not only that, but it was probably the WORST-smelling perfume I've ever smelled as well. :(

As soon as I got a whiff, I started coughing. I have mild asthma, so maybe I'm more sensitive than the "average" person. However, I truly think ANYONE would have coughed if they got a good whiff of this, because it was so strong AND so foul!! The woman actually looked at me, probably wondering if I had tuburculosis or something, the way I was coughing. *wry chuckle*

When she looked at me, I almost said something to her, in a very NICE way, about her perfume. I would not have said it smells bad, because that's a matter of (gross) preference. But I sooo wanted to simply tell her that it was wayyyy too strong for public use. However, I chickened out. :(

Do you think it's ever OK to tell someone this?

The problem seems to grow and grow. When parents begin lobbying that religious beliefs be taught in science classrooms you have to admit the system is failing (has failed) somewhere. It also seems that these people have convinced themselves that creation is true and evolution is false. Not only this they display a fundamental misunderstanding of what evolution really is, lumping things like the big bang into the theory along with statements like "man came from monkeys." It also seems that they are mostly unwilling to accept an actual education on the subject.

How can we educate those who need it so badly?

look at hate crimes, homosexuals are using this law as a chance to get rid of christianity. almost all christian congregations outside of church seem to be harrased and christians imprisoned for their beliefs. you see it often enough in the news. yet no matter what happens to christians people seem not to do anything. why all the hate, if you say that we are wrong why should you care what we do. we are not after all breaking any laws or going outside of our rights. also when christians protest there is always an uproar but when gays do nothing, even when they start to get aggresive all that happens is a quick break up. yet when we have a silent protest we are imprisoned and beaten. sorry i know this is really long.

...a common ancestor? Humans share about 99.4% of DNA with monkeys, and some even argue that humans are a type of chimpanzee (or chimps a type of human). Humans also share DNA with gorillas, horses, and several other things (if not, all)...although I don't remember the exact numbers. I believe horses were around 80% and gorillas were 90%. Anyway, why would we all share DNA if we weren't connected somehow?

(Also, I'm not a scientist...if there is some scientific explanation behind this, please let me know!)

And before that, the Jews thought the Christians were the fruitcakes! Never mind that the Hebrews seemed like a bunch of nuts to the various pagan religions in the region. Isn't this just harsh judgement based on the fact that this religion is newer? Noone has any grounds to claim any other religion is "wrong" or "decieved", so why continue to do so?

NO WAY.
here's why from muslim.
1.Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) received his first revelation in his fortieth year. And it is true that both the books of the Bible and the Qur’an cover much common ground. It is also true that in the course of 23 years, verses were revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be on him) on different occasions and that he asked his followers to put these verses in particular places in different chapters.

2.There was no Arabic translation of the Bible available during the Prophet’s time.

3.It is well-known that the Prophet did not know how to read or write: he was illiterate. So there was no question of his plagiarizing the Bible, even if an Arabic copy did in fact exist in his time. What then of the charge that he was taught by some Christians?

Christianity is the dominant religion of the western world but to get that way, it had to do some dirty things. I'm not talking about the Crusaders, they lost remember.

Africa was tribal (with a few major exceptions), and Meso America had well developed civilizations with their own gods and cultures. They didn't know Jesus from Zeus. Then European imperialism placed Africa in bondage and decimated the Americas with guns and plagues.

So there is the obvious paradox of men like Sharpton and Jackson being both Christian and prejudice against white people when the only reason that they know Jesus is because their ancestors were slaves.

Christians, here is where you come in. I need you to justify the enslavement of a continent and the eradication by murder and disease of another as God's will and that you are okay with that being the method he choose to spread Christianity? And tell me what happen to those that died via disease and on the boats before their indoctrination/conversion...

On Yahoo Answers, just as it is in everyday life, most of those who ask psychics for readings only want their needs pandered to and are willing to pay for the pandering. There are many who will pander for cash or points. Some true psychics and many not. In watching and participating I've seen this as a constant pattern. Therefore, I would say it is those who seek through remuneration and build the false house of cards in which they wish to abide, buttress the view of many none believers that divination of any kind is false.
