Never seen a nun?

Muslims do not wear 'turbans' ... only Sikhs wear turbans, and that is much closer to Christianity than to Mohammedenism. Catholics don't wear any particular 'head gear' ... it used to be that women were not allowed to attend Mass without their heads covered, but that has not been 'the rule' since around 1965. Some Jewish people (males, only) wear 'yarmulkes' but even then not all do ... so you should NEVER 'judge a person by his or her headgear' ... or color, or 'looks' ...

Catholic clergy do.

+ Zucchetto +

The skullcap worn by the Catholic clergy is called a zucchetto.

All Catholic clergy are entitled to wear the zucchetto.
+ The Pope's zucchetto is white
+ Cardinals are red
+ Bishops are purple
+ Priests and deacons are black

Some think that Zucchettos go back to when clerics shaved the center of their heads into a tonsure. Zucchettos would help keep their heads warm.

+ Mitre +

Bishops wear a mitre, a hat with peaks in front and back, at liturgical services.

+ With love in Christ.

In doing your research, the Catholic faith, was the first to see the cross as a holy object in the 3rd or 4th century by Constatine (?). Shortly after this, use of "the sign of the cross" began to be used. So if the Catholics have a symbol, it would be using the "sign of the cross" and possibly wearing or having in their possion rosary beads.

way back when, we (the women) used to have to cover their head with either a hat, scarf or a Lacy circlet, whenever we entered to the church. the
Sisters wore habits. there are still a few denominations that wear the habit, but the style of them has changed over the years.

During the Tribulation we will have the cross on our foreheads. Note: the lower case Thau looks like a cross:

Eze 9:1 And he cried in my ears with a loud voice, saying: The visitations of the city are at hand, and every one hath a destroying weapon in his hand.
Eze 9:2 And behold six men came from the way of the upper gate, which looketh to the north: and each one had his weapon of destruction in his hand: and there was one man in the midst of them clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn at his reins: and they went in, and stood by the brazen altar.
Eze 9:3 And the glory of the Lord of Israel went up from the cherub, upon which he was, to the threshold of the house: and he called to the man that was clothed with linen, and had a writer's inkhorn at his loins.
Eze 9:4 And the Lord said to him: Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem: and mark Thau upon the foreheads of the men that sigh, and mourn for all the abominations that are committed in the midst thereof.
Eze 9:5 And to the others he said in my hearing: Go ye after him through the city, and strike: let not your eyes spare, nor be ye moved with pity.
Eze 9:6 Utterly destroy old and young, maidens, children and women: but upon whomsoever you shall see Thau, kill him not, and begin ye at my sanctuary. So they began at the ancient men who were before the house.
Eze 9:7 And he said to them: Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew them that were in the city.
Eze 9:8 And the slaughter being ended I was left; and I fell upon my face, and crying, I said: Alas, alas, alas, O Lord God, wilt thou then destroy all the remnant of Israel, by pouring out thy fury upon Jerusalem?
Eze 9:9 And he said to me: The iniquity of the house of Israel, and of Juda, is exceeding great, and the land is filled with blood, and the city is filled with perverseness: for they have said: The Lord hath forsaken the earth, and the Lord seeth not.
Eze 9:10 Therefore neither shall my eye spare, nor will I have pity: I will requite their way upon their head.
Eze 9:11 And behold the man that was clothed with linen, that had the inkhorn at his back, returned the word, saying: I have done as thou hast commanded me.

"Do not damage the land or the sea or the trees until we put the seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God." (Cf. Revelation 7:3).

"The flame of fire, and the wrath against the unrighteous shall not touch him, when it goeth forth from the face of the Lord against sinners, to destroy all the substance of sinners, for the mark of God is upon the righteous that they may be saved…."(Cf. Ps 15:6-12).

Nuns don't have to wear habits any more. On Ash Sunday, we wear ashes. That's it. The Bishop wears his mitre hat.
