Can Heaven really be a place, when your heaven might be my hell?

For example, say a murder goes to hell, he has a family in heaven and they miss him, how can heaven be perfect if a mother is left loning for her child for eternity?

or is it merely a man made concept because no-one is truely good nor evil, but more a mixture of the 2?

Why read the bible when mans written so many other great fables with excellant moral lessons.

It was not written by God or Jesus infact the one gospel said to be Jesus' own words is not included "the gospel of Thomas" because it takes way the power of man and its church, alone with all the riches its gained.

The bible is a book of rules written by man to scare us into their way of think and has had so many things added over the years its probably bearly contains any of the original text.

Why is Thomas boubting Thomas so the church can rule out jesus words it doesnt fit in with their version.

Try reading what is more believable to be jesus words & all missing gospels before claiming the bible as fact.

I posed this question for people to use their own minds & words to answer and i no this might go against the ethose of many mainstream religion because they prefer to control the mind & dont encourage freedom of thought.

if god wipes away memories of loved ones,

To lose the guidance of my father
the love of my mother
to forget the pain and joy my children have brought me.
the arms of my friends who picked me up and made me laugh on my journey, my lessons that have molded me the good and the bad.... God would wipe me out.... I'd be a clone because That i am would be lost.

if I have a chair and take away its supports (legs) would it still be a chair, or would it be a collection of objects that used to be a chair.

If you wanted to show me the path to your god, I'd get off at the next crossroad
and look for another option, a god who loves me, my faults and my choices, for my god will set free for better and worse

Go outside on a clear starry night and look to each of the four directions. What do you see? The Heavens. Then realize the heavens are also below you as they are above and beyond. Then consider where the earth is ... it's in the heavens. So where does that put you?

When our body passes away, our consciousness simply goes on to another dimension ... in the heavens.

In regard to Good and Evil, try considering them in terms of Positive and Negative ... then try to balance them as equally as possibe because that is how one finds harmony.

Have a blessed day.

Both heaven and hell are invented according to ones belief system but in the end we all end up taking incarnation once again towards becoming divine beings.Every human soul has behind it a long series of countless incarnations and the greater bulk of humanity have as yet a long ways to travel before becoming divine.

Heaven is a "place" and I can't wait To go there! Jesus is MY Savior, and He Is the only Way You will ever find Out. THROUGH THE SHED BLOOD OF JESUS.
People Who go to Heaven , But loved ones are in Hell >will Have THEIR TEARS WIPED AWAY BY JESUS, and the memory OF THEM will Then Disappear.........

I first wanted to say we shall never know until we pass on. If there is nothing then we won't know and it won't matter as we won't know it. Your example is heart felt. The only unforgiven sin is denial of the Holy Ghost. I am thinking it is a man made concept which goes along with the greatest story ever told.

happy you asked. i don't think of Heaven is a actual place. it won't have the capacity to be. with a view to get "there" you're able to could be lifeless. if it incredibly is the case, the only selection is yet another "state of existence" previous the fabric. So how do you get there? you are able to the two be in sync with the "imaginitive rigidity of the Universe", or a detrimental, detrimental "bastar*" who won't in any respect serve a clever objective interior the scheme of creation. You the two build (helpful) or wreck (detrimental). Take your %. and then settle on that's closer to "Heaven".

I think that heaven is enjoying God's company, while hell is either not enjoying it or not recognising it in the first place.

But since we don't know, and at best can only talk about it in pictures, it is not possible to press any logic-based argument (such as yours) too far.

i personaly think it is a state of mind the jews dont have a hevan or hell but i could be slightly wrong and they judt dont have a hell, and they are united in gods pressence, but in life i know lots of people who were in hell becouse they didn't like where they were, and felt imprisoned becouse they were there and I know others who in the same situation were happy and contented. the same goes for prisoners if you like solitude or all your friends are in prison so are happy whereas others couldn't handle it and suffered more than was probably intended

First, be assured that no one in heaven will miss someone who isn't there. They won't even remember the person.

And yes, it will be a VERY real place.

Read the Book and you'll have all the answers that you're curious about.

Heaven is a state of mind, certainly not a place. Didn't Jesus say: "The kingdom of heaven is within you".

Heaven is promised to be free from pain and tears. If that involves forgetting that you are in hell then I suppose that is the way it will be.
