Are we in the great tribulation?

Yes. However, the character of the great tribulation is not one of physical violence; but rather of spiritual unfaithfulness in the churches and congregations of the world towards the Word of God. It is characterized by a widespread emphasis on signs and wonders. The churches of our day (all denominations: whether Catholic or Protestant) have fallen away tremendously from the truths of the Bible:
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (Matthew 24:21,24)

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (2 Thessalonians 2:3)

Considering that he was "part of God", Jesus didn't do much. He may have cured the odd leper and blind person, but why didn't he invent penicillin or find the cure for cancer?

I believe that its merely your subconcious moving the piece (as demonstrated by Derren Brown).. Or else why would spirits require a Ouiji Board to show you that they are there? Why not just move your glass when you're sitting at the table eating your tea?

Why is your god real, but not any of the others?

How can you prove this?

What do you think of people who have just as much faith and conviction as you, but in a different god?

Most of my family belongs to the JW religion :(
(Basically, every family member that lives in the same city, this include: My Parents/Siters, Uncles, Cousins, etc.)

I think I'm the only non-religious member.
I'm an Atheist, but I try to be tolerant of any religion.

Anyway its a little stressful during holidays, especially at thanksgiving, Christmas, birthdays, etc.

I love the whole holiday spirit and being able to gather together to enjoy the holidays. Just once, I would like to wake up and find a Christmas tree with gifts below it and my family gathered around it. Unfortunately this is something I'ved never gotten a chance to experience.

Should I just deal with this and accept the fact I might never get to experience a Holiday with my family?

Should I celebrate the Holidays with a friend and 'their' family?

Should I wait till I get married and celebrate with my in-Laws?
(Im 20 tho, so it might be a while...)

Should I try to Convert them to Atheism...?

i need websites, i have to find more info on this myth, it's this one:
Poseidon similarly cursed the wife of King Minos. Minos had proved his divine right to rule Crete by calling on Poseidon to send a bull from the sea, which the king promised to sacrifice. Poseidon sent the bull, but Minos liked it too much to sacrifice it. So Poseidon asked Aphrodite, the goddess of love, to make Minos's queen, Pasiphae, fall in love with the bull. The result was the monstrous Minotaur, half-man, half-bull.

but that's all the info i could find. could you give me sites about this. thank you so much!
Blessed Be

NEW YORK -- A bisexual dating show featuring a woman who gained fame on MySpace is in the works for MTV.

"A Shot at Love With Tila Tequila," in which 16 men and 16 women will compete for Tequila's affections, is set to debut Oct. 9 on the cable channel, Television Week reported Thursday.

"Tila Tequila made a name for herself by doing things her way, captivating legions of fans online, both men and women," said MTV executive Tony DiSanto. "Now she is taking that attitude and sex appeal to her own TV series where she is looking for a mate ... by again, captivating a group of both men and women."

Of Atheist, What would it take for us to believe in God.
I guess since I once did believe in a God, that question seem difficult. Short of the God/Godess saying here I am. Of course then my sanity would come into question.

So my question would be what would it take to convince the Religious that there is no God. It seems rather silly to show an empty hand and say "see I told you nothing." Yet that is pretty much the evidence. With every new discovery we say "well no God here".( of course the faithful see affirmation) With every passing year no return of the "promised one" At what point to you reconsider? I have seen posts saying end of the world 2011. when I was a kid they said 1999. I know I infer more of a Christian religion when I speak. But only because they are the most outspoken and the ones with whom I am most familier.
Is there anything to deter you from your faith? Most likely not.

Saalam alaikum, Muslims and Muslimahs. I will be attending a Masjid today for the first time. I want to muslim people. I don't know any muslims here in Utah, and I just reverted from being kind of catholicish(not really), but anyway.. I know about the dresscode and all I just started covering my head and dressing modestly a few days ago although I don't own muslim wear yet. I am working on that, but my question is what do I need to go there. Do I ask for someone or do I expect that sisters will be around the Masjid? Thank you for all the inputs.

I mean, I see where they're coming from, but there is much historical and scientific evidence that supports the Bible. It's almost as if you say "I have $100000 in my pocket." They say "NO WAY you're lying!" You take it out and show it to them, and they say "Hmmmm.... there's no way that money's real, it must be fake." That is how ignorant these Atheists are....
