in Italy recently condemned a terminally ill man, by rejecting to give him a funeral. They said that because he choose to have is life-support system turned off, it was regarded as suicide.

Ok, i understand that the church regard this as a mortal sin.

But they have granted funerals to mafia bosses, fascist dictator Franco of Spain (who murdered and tortured) and recently Augusto Pinochet.

Where was the justice?

Might be a stupid question but has anyone actually sat down and read Richard Dawkins- The God Delusion?
I would be pleasently surprised if any has.
I just got this book (from my younger brother!) and the author has been recently been voted one of the top three intellectuals in the World.
I have just started it...it is meant to make you re-think your way of life.
Are christians too scared to read this book and why is it been kept quiet?

How soon do you think the world is going to end? These days it is almost like the days of Sodom and Gommorah, and that place never lasted too long. I think the only reason why the world has not ended yet is because the Lord is so very merciful and waiting for people to turn to Him. Are there really scanner chips happening already?

Okay, so I watched this documentary on this, and there was this supremely yukky story about the origin of easter and christmas worship. I am looking to do more research on the origional pagan rituals... what I remember from the show was 3 babies being conceived on one day, in commemoration of the goddess Easter being resurrected. Then one year later these babies were slaughtered (at 3 months old) and eggs were died red in their blood - the origion of the Christian 'egg' thing. The created a hair that laid eggs, hence that myth... I am looking for more info on this, can anyone reccomend any links?

A lot of people seem to get upset if you suggest that being responsible for your actions and obeying the laws might be the mature and right way for people to live their lives. Are they against responsibility, maturity, or just things in general that they think might put restrictions on their live?

Obviously if you're a Christian who takes the Bible and 4 Gospels literally I won't ask. But historians who claim the gospels written long after Jesus died (if he even lived), where do they get this info?

Ok, I've heard already that they writers were obviously NOT John, Luke, Mark, Matthew. But I just want to know how dating is measured, once I can get this solid, i think I can defend my view.

I am asking this after see "The God Who wasn't there"

In Luke 21:5, 6 we read, "And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,
As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down."

If you go to the Wailing Wall (Western Wall), you will still find the original "stones" that composed the Temple when Jesus spoke these words. You can Google "Wailing Wall" and see photographs.

In 1 Peter 2:5 we read, "Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ." In this verse we see that "stones" refers to true believers or His sheep (John 10:27).

In Luke 19:40 we read, "And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out." Here again, "stones" refers to God's elect or wheat that deaire to praise and give thanks to God.

I was wondering if you built a homopolar generator like the one Faraday did but built the main shaft and balanced it like a gyroscope so there would be little frictional losses, could you in theory build an overunity device.

I mean if you get a perfectly balanced gyroscope like that of one off of an single engine airplane that can spin for hours and in turn made a generator out of it,

would it build up a large enough electrical charge during those hours where you could then run it back into a battery, then discharge some power from the battery back into the generator itself to increase the rpm back up sufficiently as to produce more current to charge the battery and maybe have a little leftover as excess charge...

would there be any magnetic drag that would cause this to be impossible/impracticle???

I have tried to make this as clear as I can, let me know if I can clear anything up!

In Revelation 16:13 we read, "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet." **Please note that the 3 unclean spirits came out of the mouth of the beast, the false prophet, and the dragon.

In Revelation 12:9 the Bible says, "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."
"Dragon" is another name for satan.

In Isaiah 14:14, 15 we read, "I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit." **Please note that satan's greatest desire is to be God, to rule and bring judgment!

The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 11:14, "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." **Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44), and his ..
