I concidered judaism at one time... and that i've got study the koran in english... i did not come to God and His Church untill age fifty 3... befor that ingredient I actualy did not concider"faith" of any signifigance, except it replaced into in a detrimental way... 30yrs befor coming to God I observed the deception of islam for what that's. and the threat it poses to ALL of mankind... Judaism is nolonger a thank you to God... mutually as I even have not at all had any animosity to the Jews. and that i concidered "changing" basically inorder to make it much less difficult to paintings in Israel, which at one time i replaced into on the brink of doing...I now learn God's be conscious and could for me as He leads me... mutually as I had "study" some interior the Bible over the years I not at all have been given something out of it... no person will who isn't lead by ability of God throughout the time of the Holy Spirit... The Bible of the actual Christian faith isn't meant for any not open to the finest of God........ long befor coming to God i could desire to needless to say see that islam has not something what-so-ever to do with The God of Abraham... and... even with the undeniable fact that guy has corrupted The be attentive to God for the two the Jew and the Gentile... The Bible, and the backside of the Torah, will nonetheless furnish for those open to God... different than the way of the Jew is now not the way prescribed for guy again to God.... basically people who come interior the way God prescribes will receive His unfastened, and eternal, present of Salvation... those grow to be an element of The physique of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is the top. those are those of the actual Christian faith. basically those of The Church will enter Heaven.

I really love missionary biographies, my favorite being:
Rees Howells: Intercessor by Norman Grubb
http://www.amazon.com/Rees-Howells-Intercessor-Norman-Grubb/dp/071883027X/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/103-1359383-9447047?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1189282012&sr=8-1
More generally, I would stick with something that is simple, logical and never talks down to the reader, like: Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis or The Fight by John White.
I also really like books on prayer and just Christian classics generally like: The Kneeling Christian by An Unknown Christian and Humility by Andrew Murray.
