I'm not Catholic, so I have to walk a short distance to the pub a after a church service or meeting.
What exactly was the point of your question? Do you think that Christians should not drink (in moderation)? Did not Jesus change water into wine (yes, I know the story was a teaching tool, but there are other examples Jesus could have used.)

And where do you live may I ask? In the church...in the pub or where most protestants go????? There is not even one pub near a church in Malta....there is not even one pub near the churches in India where I stayed and there are no publs near the churches here in England so where did you see this...on the moon or in your dreams?????

Look the Catholic mass is a dead boring at the best of times, you need something.
I live in Italy and there was a priest here giving out free Spritz (Wine with a type of ginger ale) to people after mass.
LOL

The one next to the Vatican is the best, it's got strobe lights, lazer shows and a revolving celestial dome for a ceiling, above a stationary flat Earth dancefloor.

What? What are you saying? That Catholic churches and schools have pubs but not churches and schools? I'm not getting your meaning here. Could you please clarify?

Thank you. Now I can respond...
What is wrong with beer and wine? Didn't Jesus turn water into wine as his first miracle? Or don't you believe in the Bible?

They arent pubs - they are social clubs. For having 'do's' in but you can just go in and get blotto after mass.
