I'm interested in CD's that really help to draw a person into a worshipful experience. Got any favorites to suggest? Iv'e got some Chris Tomlinson already, plus some others, but I'd like a better collection. Thanks.

and if He created time, how is it possible that he "always was"?

Where could He have been, if God created "everywhere"?

a problem if I taught to children that God is an energy that lives inside all living creatures, and that all living creatures deserve respect. That God is not a being, but an entity?

If so, why should your version be taught instead?

Someone once wrote this: "If I say 'God does not exist', immediately theists would be... proclaiming that by saying God does not exist gives legitimacy that God as a term exists ... hence God exists."

But isn't it that the concept of God is people's idea of God existing? We know the concept of God exists - people believe. The concept is the belief - it has faith in. Also, isn't the TERM of God just its word? We know the word "God" exists.

So, saying God does not exist means that God, as a real being, does not exist. Saying the word "God" as a being - in this case, negatively, does not imply the opposite right?

But what I'm wondering is how do they approach the definition of "theory", when they constantly debunk evolution because it is only a "theory"...

And if science is only out to get "them" and disprove god, how can they use science for their own purpose. How can they trust science?

...If the Pledge had "Under Krishna" in it?

How about if your child was expected to pray with the rest of the class to the Great Horned God?

Or if your child had to listen to daily readings from the Koran?

Do you understand why there shouldn't be any religion in schools yet?

The early Muslims waged war on Arabs who were considered idolators in order to convert them to Islam. Does anyone know what the beliefs were of those people before they were converted?

I was interviewed for a job yesterday in a respectable company, and the boss comes from a popular background. Although I think the interview went fine, I felt the boss (interviewer) was talking too much that I didn't share as much as I have wanted. Half the time I was just affirming her opinions with, "I agree", or "I believe so too". I enjoyed the interview and conversation overall and am dying to get in the company. Is it okay to write the boss, what should I tell her?

Since the Jehovah's Witness organization currently rejects most of the teachings of its founder Charles Taze Russell (who was president of the organization from 1879-1916), and since they also reject "Judge" Joseph Franklin Rutherford, who succeeded Russell as president from 1916 - 1942, how can we be sure that in 25 more years, Jehovah's Witnesses won't also reject president, Milton G. Henschel as they did Russell and Rutherford?

About this question, my husband had given it to me after I had called my doctor. I was hospitalized on Monday with severe migraines caused by the stress of my father dying. They were so bad to the point that I was vomiting. I kept having headaches until last night. My back was also in a great deal of pain from having wrenched it when I moved a couch, which my friends know about. The accident they were talking about when the couch fell on me down the stairs. I was not using these as a way of getting high or anything else so foolish. It was ok'd by a doctor. But I was such a wreck last night after the funeral and in so much pain in my head and in my back that nothing else could be done.

As for those who did not know, I understand they did not know about the accident and the physical pain.

As for people who do take drugs without having physical pain, are they using it as a crutch? Do they believe in God or not? Can they increase their spirituality and overcome it?

New Pledge of Allegiance!

Since the Pledge of Allegiance
and The Lord's Prayer

is not allowed in most public schools anymore

Because the word "God" is mentioned....

A kid in Arizona wrote the attached NEW School prayer.

Now I sit me down in school

Where praying is against the rule

For this great nation under God

Finds mention of Him very odd.

If Scripture now the class recites,

It violates the Bill of Rights.

And anytime my head I bow

Becomes a Federal matter now.

Our hair can be purple, orange or green,

That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.

The law is specific, the law is precise.

Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.

For praying in a public hall

Might offend someone with no faith at all.

In silence alone we must meditate,

God's name is prohibited by the state.
